It's pretty nuts to think about! There were years where I would only check GAF once or twice a week, but I've been using it almost daily since 2011. So really, 80% of those posts are probably in the last three years.

I'm glad NeoGAF hides post counts. Its so annoying on other forums listening to dick waggling and fake-self deprecation over how high someone's post count it.

Yeah, especially when it people make lots of 1-2 word responses and general spam/filler posts just to raise post count. It's not really disabled since you can still see it, I've been on a couple forums where the only way to know your post count was if an mod/admin told you. Honestly, I liked that.

A solid amount. I was much more picky back when I joined about what I would post, though, for fear of getting banned. Not that I don't watch what I say now, but obviously I understand what's bannable better now.

Though less recently. Either I'm getting old or the mod I used to offend moved on.

I was here before NEOGAF was NEOGAF. When it was just GAF. Joined around 2000 or before. Lots of fun stuff in this community. I feel ya. My GAF usage increased a lot in 2011 cause I was going through some hard times. Things have improved since then, and now I just use GAF cause I like it.
