How much do you eat in a day?

about 2000-2200 calories a day, split into two large meals. A 36 hours fast every fourth day. Mostly meat, eggs and low carb veggies, some dairy and fish from time to time. Nothing else

i think i had 2 go gurts, 3 protein bars, 1 frozen dinner thingy (turkey and stuffing with green beans), 2 english muffins with and egg and spam, and a single smallish pancake

and lots of diet soda

Yesterday I ate way too fucking much.

Steak teriyaki bowl at work. Pico Guacamole chicken burger from McDonald's after work. Got super stoned in the night. Ended up ordering some pizza hut. Ate like 4 slices of stuffed crust. I then proceeded to eat 3 ice cream cones. Today I ate way less, because I felt so ashamed from last night lol. Ate a six inch chicken sub from subway. Had 2 chicken tostadas at the house. I'm hungry as fuck right now tho.

Very little.

I never really liked eating all that much, and my smoking addiction killed what little appetite I had.

It doesn't help that I have a weak digestive system, the last time I tried to bulk up I just got explosive diarrhea instead.

I eat about 3000 calories per day. Weight lifting is heavy/Intense 4 days per week. I work a rotating shift so my meals are different than most as far as timing goes.

I'm working midnight shift this week so breakfast is some whole foods like chicken and potatoes or rice. Lunch will be leftover meals like wheat spaghetti with lean ground beef and marinara. In between I'll eat some peanut butter and yogurt. Dinner is a protein shake and sometimes some eggs as well. I switch things up as much as possible because I find the "bro" diet of chicken/broccoli every day to be extremely boring.

I have a big appetite and can put away an absolutely huge amount of food if I let myself go. To avoid this I try to limit myself to dinner and a few snacks throughout the day. Unfortunately I work at a coffee shop and the fact that I'm surrounded by sugary/fatty food, along with the odd working hours/break times and my tendency to stress eat on busier days has had me eating like shit over the last several months.

Thankfully I've gotten back to calorie counting.

Today I had:

a small piece of tiramisu
six or seven ounces of marinated skirt steak
A low calorie energy drink
a couple squares of milk chocolate
and a couple cups of mixed raspberries, blueberries, and cherries.

Not all that healthy, but it was about 1300 calories and met my protein needs for the most part.

I eat 8 times a day in total but am in total mostly below 2000 calories a day. Doing summer cut currently. Gotta get rid of that baby fat once and for all.

Somewhere between 2000 and 3000 calories a day depending on my workouts. I usually eat a light breakfast and lunch and then a pretty big dinner.

Breakfast: 12oz oatmeal w/ some raisins
Lunch: Salad with a little grilled chicken, tofu, peppers, onions, chick peas, carrots, black beans, squash, and oil and balsamic
Dinner: Pizza/sandwich/pasta/fish and veggies (one of them)

Too much. I need to lose weight. I'm guessing I'm about 30 lbs overweight. Cheesesteaks, pizza, and chinese takeout have been too tempting lately lol.

Trying to get to auschwitz mode so I can get a lean face. For the past few weeks I've mostly eaten: two protein shakes, boatloads of water, black coffee and diet soda and whatever I have lying around that's <300 calories (usually a fried egg and poached chicken breast) every day. Today I broke down and got a big mac from McDonald's. Only other thing I could eat was a single protein shake so I had to down like 6 water bottles trying to keep myself full lol. I try to eat the most filling thing right before bed so I can sleep properly.

Why are you obsessed with having a lean face? You're going to look awfully malnourished if you're aiming to look like someone who was in Auschwitz, which, by the way, is pretty tasteless to compare yourself to, and I'd suggest trying to find a different way to describe your weight loss goals.

Currently cutting so...
Breakfast: Protein shake (100cals)
Lunch: Some sort of salad (~500cals)
Dinner:Moderately light.. often chicken based with some veggies (~500cals)
Snack: Combo of oatmeal/fruit/halo top (~300cals)

Comes out to about 1500 calories on a normal day. Goes up on the weekend.

Counting calories right now (and its working), on average 1500 calories a day, I do have a cheat day every week or so.

i only eat one big meal a day, mostly in the evening

at noon i just eat some fruits and vegetable

i really don't eat a lot, and that's enough for me, never been sick, good health, good weight, etc...

i could eat more but i would quickly become fat, i'm too lazy to work-out so that's my solution

Doing intermittent fasting and keto combo so a typical day is as follows:

Breakfast (6h30): Nothing, just a zero sugar energy drink on the way to work and water while working.

Lunch (14h00): some type of bacon and cheese burger with no bun.

Dinner (18h00): usually a Caesar salad with bacon crumble and no croutons.

Oh and Greens+ mixed with water every night around 21h00 for antioxidants and other essential vitamins.

Between 2300 and 4000 calories depending on how insatiable my hunger is that day. Three meals a day at least. Often four. I'm still managing to keep the 30 lbs I lost off just barely. Need to lose another 50 and thats not happening though. :(

Breakfast - quest bar
Lunch - rice and chicken
snacks throughout the day - almonds, bell peppers, kale, carrots
Dinner - Eggs or Oatmeal usually

-Yesterday I ate 4 triple chocolate cookies and a large chicken biryani (didn't finish it).

-Today, I've had a banana, carton of matcha soya milk and a large chicken wrap. Will probably eat out tonight (maybe a curry and rice).

Never counted the calories but I'd guess I yoyo between 1500-2500 calories each day. Used to eat a lot more.

Yesterday. This is around normally what I eat. Dinner usually is a little larger than the other meals.

Brealfast: (Normal breakfast for me)
Coffee
Belvita breakfast bar

Lunch
Chicken and Sausage gumbo
Chips
Diet coke

Dinner
BBQ Chicken Quesadillas
Beer (Oberon)

Banana Split Ice Cream from DQ (Small size)

Not my healthiest day

Right now I'm going back on my diet because I've gained too much weight.

This is my usual daily menu, with some variables for lunch and dinner, but the calories are in the same area

1200cal diet

Morning:

1 Piece artisan bread, toasted on cast iron (120cal)
3 Eggs, scrambled french style (210cal)
1-2 Slices of deli ham, roasted on cast iron (~40cal)
1tbsp olive oil for toasting (only really consume half of whats used to toast the bread, ~40cal)

Lunch

6oz Broiled Chicken (~200cal)

or

Garden Salad w/ 3oz Broiled Chicken
1 oz Goat cheese (~90cal)
3tbsp light Italian dressing (~45cal)

Snack

7oz baby carrots (~70cal)
2oz humus (~140cal)

Dinner

What ever is on the menu, just in a smaller portion to fit into the remaining calorie limit

Usually, I just ask for a salad with what ever is being made, which is similar to the lunch salad

Meal 1
Steel cut Oats with Maple Syrup and a coffee

Meal 2
Usually a vegan burrito bowl. I'm not vegan, but there is no dairy or meat in this burrito bowl.

Meal 3
Usually rice and beans, sweet potatoes and broccoli, animal protein and vegetables.

My snack is fruit and nuts.

I relax in the weekend but don't go nuts.

I don't calorie count and eat until full. No issues with fat gain following this template and I'm never starving. It's high in fiber and low in fat which helps.

Fat is not bad, but calories dense. Unless you're on a ketogenic diet, you may want to watch out it for it.

And avoid vegetable oil like the plague.

1800-2300 calories typically, depending on activity level.

Day drinking Saturdays may vary.

2276 average this week
2163 average last week

Breakfast

Coffee
Toasted bread and honey
Fresh orange juice

Mid morning or breakfast no. 2

Pastry and coffee again

Lunch

Pasta with ricotta cheese, zucchini and tomatoes
Meat and vegetables
Piece of cake

5.00 pm break

Small slice of pizza

Dinner

Pasta with basil sauce
Stuffed turkey and salad as a side dish
Small piece of bread+Nutella iirc
Fruit

That's more or less what I always eat in terms of quantity. Might swap meat with fish or chicken and pasta with rice and have different kinds of dessert, but that's what 85% of my days are like.
Sunday's, I eat even more.

Breakfast - bowl of cereal with soya milk

11am (also known as "elevenses" - cereal bar/snack and a banana

1pm (lunch) - small bowl of mixed fresh fruit (blueberries, raspeberries and strawberries) with a single portion of greek honey yoghurt, bag of crisps and an apple

3pm - snack (normally something like a mars bar) and a can of energy drink (which I know is just sugar, but I like it and screw you I'm tired from all the winning)

7pm - dinner, which is always something home-made and not out of a jar or packet.

I like to think I eat pretty well, but I don't go out of my way to be a self-righteous knob about it.

Breakfast-1 bowl of cream of wheat, a cup of coffee and something sweet
Lunch- Homemade turkey sandwich, some chips and something sweet
Dinner- Whatever my mother makes plus something sweet

Bfast: Chicken Salad

Lunch: Protein Bar

Dinner: bagel with sauce and cheese.......a pizza bagel.

I try to keep it around 1800 calories. I'll go to around 2200-2300 when I exercise.

I ate like a savage animal today and I'm about to get some more food.

Had:
Breakfast-
Onion Bagel with onion creme cheese spread, spinach and smoked sausage.

Lunch-
Taco Bell $5 Big Box:

Taco
Cheesy Gordita Crunch
Burrito Supreme
Mini Chicken Quesadilla

Dinner is about to be In-N-Out or Five-Guys.

This is the most food I've eaten in a while. Wait... I'm lying. I had like 3 pounds of BBQ on Sunday when with my family. That doesn't even include the snacks and other things I had that day.

I was expecting more.

maybe try not to liken your weight loss goals to millions of people that were systematically exterminated?

just a thought.
