How much do you plan on spending during the PS4/XBOX ONE launch?

PS4 - $400
Killzone - $60
Battlefield 4 - $60
Madden 25 - $60
Assassin's Creed IV - $60
Watch Dogs - $60
Infamous Second Sun - $60 (I know it's not launch, but it's paid off)

Luckily, the above were all paid with GameStop trade in credit, so that's not money out of my pocket, at all.

What I am actually spending is:

Xbox One - $500
CoD Ghosts - $60
Dead Rising 3 - $60
Forza 5 - $60

So...$680 ?

Xbox One- $299
PS4- $399

At the moment I am on the hook for around $700 (I paid $200 so far on Xbox One). By the time the consoles come out in November I want to bring that number down to $400. For games since Black Friday is really close, I will wait to pick up some games. I have money in my Xbox account to buy Killer Instinct and Lococycle. PS4, I get Resogun day one since it's free with PS+

$499 for Day One Edition (NH no tax)
$60 for 2nd controller
$200 for launch titles
Gold sub was already good for 3 years (Got to love $35 deals at NewEgg)

Total = $760

The only wildcard is how much the headset adapter will be, but I doubt it's going to run more than $20 bucks.

About $2500 between the new consoles and I'm buying a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition tablet to use for games and other things.

I could've sworn we discussed this topic recently.

We've discussed this and various other types of threads like this one 1000 times. But I'm cool with it because it shows how excited everyone is. I know I most certainly am.

For me, whatever the cost of PS4 + ~2-3 games is. Cost will be lower cause I'll use whatever the best deal is for games on launch. Always a slick deal for games if you buy more than 1.

Playstation 4
PS4 Camera
DualShock 4
Call of Duty: Ghosts
Killzone: Shadow Fall
#Driveclub
Knack
Watch_Dogs

All paid off. About $1,000 after taxes.

The sad thing (in my case) as soon as I paid off all my next gen pre orders, my HDTV of 7 years has went out for good. Now I have to save up for a new tv. I've seen some nice ones, but it's gonna take over a month (if not two) to buy a new one. I guess on the bright side, I'll be playing next gen games on a new LED tv...it's just gonna be awhile until that happens.

(in the meantime I'm using my desktop PC's 25" LED monitor to game.)

xbox one (paid off) - 500
Killer Instinct -----------40
Forza 5-------------------60
COD----------------------60
2DS console-----------130
2 3DS games-----------70

$860 plus tax.

I gave up on getting a PS4 as well, this year is expensive.

PS4 - $399
Killzone: Shadow Fall - $59

I'm also planning on getting The Witness and some other indie games, so I guess my total will be around $460 to $500. My girlfriend is buying us another DualShock 4 and Minecraft. I'll probably ask for Watch Dogs and Battlefield 4 for Christmas.

I'm gonna get the box (PS4) and a couple games. My third game will probably be NCAA "College" Football next summer. So, "not very much."

I'm probably going to delay my PS4 purchase to February for Infamous: Second Son.

I'll spend:

- $400 for PS4 console
- $60 for ISS
- $50 for PS+

$536 after tax.

Watch Dogs was a surefire purchase for me on PS4, until I just read that Uplay is a part of it. Just saved me 70 bucks, thanks Ubi.

So for me, it'll be a PS4 with Knack and a shooter, I still haven't decided which.

Amazon Rewards Visa points paid for the PS4.

Local game store credit sitting at around 195 bucks. I'll nab another controller and the camera from them, maybe a game like Killzone or BF4 that should have legs.

GameFly for all other games. So, 13 bucks a month?

Killzone: Shadow Fall $60
Ryse: Son of Rome $60

nice, bro.

Depends on how much amazon credit I can accumulate before then for my PS4 preorder. Have an Xbox preordered as well, but not sure if I will keep it. Not preording no games cause I wanna go in store on launch day to get some. Doubt KZ, Knack, and BF4 will be sold out at launch.

Close to $650 I think after launch. Haven't preordered the games, just paid off the console and a extra controller so far.

PS4 - $400
Killzone Shadow Fall - $60
Watchdogs - $60
DS4 - $60
Resogun - $20? PSN game
