I walk home after work if I don't feel super lazy, so 3 miles a day. Weekends? Browse GAF, play games, watch movies... so nothing.

On Sept. 1st, I weighed 261lbs , 6'1" and got no exercise at all.

I started walking 1 mile a day, and riding a bicycle a couple of miles a day, I have slowly increased my mileage every week and right now, I walk the dog for 1.5 miles, I ride my bicycle for 5 miles, and I walk 1.5-2.0 miles on a treadmill every evening.

I'm down to 243 lbs now.

I walk a lot at work, should get a pedometer to get specifics.

I do ride to and back from work tho, plus riding with friends. I ride my bicycle at least 40KM a day.

A shit ton. I'm a super in construction and my project's site is 35 acres.

When we were building Yankee Stadium, I clocked myself with a pedometer. At work alone I was logging 16 miles per day, walking. Comfortable boots are a must!

Holy shit, you helped build Yankee Stadium? That's fuck awesome!

I bike during the dry season, but I hate biking in the rain, so I actually walk more during the winter. I'd say about five to seven miles a day on average. I try to be fairly active, and walking also helps me process things that are stressing me out, so I make a point to do it.

During a normal day, I walk to the train station, which is about 10 minutes, then I walk from the train station at my destination to school about 15 minutes, and that twice a day. Then I walk around the school a lot obviously. So that would be around an hour and a half per day.

Frankly, I walk pretty much anywhere. When in Amsterdam, I never take the tram, I always walk so that's about 30-60 minutes every time. I love it.

Walk to and from work each day so about 2 miles. If have class I work there to so that's anothe 2.

And in response to the urban sprawl comment most surban town are trying fix this with small town squares. And most of the gaffers that say they walk 2 miles plus live in citys.

I work about a 5min walk away, and take the stairs to get to my 3rd floor apartment, so not much. I often go running though for about an hour to make up for it, but with the weather getting colder I won't be able to soon....guess I'll just go for long walks.

When I'm going to work, I take the bus to the station and walk the rest of the way, which takes about 10 minutes. Sometimes if walking is an option, I will walk.
