How much is the Wii in Germany?

My cousins from Germany are here and want to get a Wii when they head back they want to pick one up. Thanks.
249,99 euros is the European price.
It's a PAL console though so you can only play PAL games which I wouldn't recommend for none European gamers.

They live in Germany though.
Then it won't be a problem.

Since Nintendo Europe is based in Germany it should be easy to find, alot of Dutch gamers bought one in Germany this holiday season.

You should be able to get one in NRW around Köln (Cologne).
Im not checking that often though.
Last time i checked both Mediamarkt and Saturn got some. (Was some days before Christmas)

If they buy it in the US(assuming that is where you are), it will be dirt cheap as the dollar is kind of worthless these days. They will have to source games from vgp.ca or similar, but it's still going to be cheaper than waiting on NOE's glacial bollocks.

249 € = 365 USD.

If you're from Europe then
249 € = 249 €

Our currency hasn't lost its value, yours has. That's why it's cheap for us to import games from the States and it's expensive for Americans to import games from Europe (but then again, why would you? You guys get everything before we do in general)

I wouldn't let your cousins buy a Wii in the States since Wii games are region locked. They should only get one if they don't mind importing all their games since PAL games won't work at all.

@topic

...I got nothin. :(
Man, I'd love some brats right now.
Actually the plural for Bratwurst is Bratwürste. And lol @ the guy who can't even spell Heil right.

On topic: If they can understand English they should get a US Wii - cheaper games, faster release. Early hardware issues (faulty GPU, disc drive) shouldn't occur anymore, making it somewhat safe to buy hardware from overseas (after all it's Nintendo).

Is it hard to find in Germany as well? Thanks.

You should have no problem to find a Wii here in Germany. Sometimes they are out of stock but Nintendos supply is big enough.

FYI, it's 1000 PLN (275 Euros) in Poland.

But damn, we don't even know the word "shortage" for the Wii. I was in the biggest Polish shop with games/books/music/media, and they had a stockpile of Wiis (around 20, and the store manager told me they have "some more" in the back).

If anyone from the US wants to buy it, the shipping is just $30 :D

its actually 235 euro most of the places since a few months(including belgium and the Netherlands)
It's not in Germany though (what the OP was asking about). But do you have a link to a shop with that offer, a friend of mine may be interested (border is not far away).
