How much soda do you guys drink?

Almost none. I drink mad water, juice and some ice tea.

Only time i know i'll get soda is at fast foods. Most of the time i pick the ice tea they have.

No bullshit, I drink 8-10 cans of cherry coke zero every day. I'm addicted to it.

Okay, you're pretty close. At my peak I was drinking four to six liters of Coke Zero a day, the equivalent of 11-17 cans. The only reason I stopped was the hassle of going to the store so often. Every so often I get close to that again and have to go cold turkey for a while, and I'm in one of those periods now.

Since before September pretty much 1 every 2 months or something. Now it's about once a week. It should really go back to almost nothing.

I'm 32 and drink about 1 to 3 8.oz cans.

I also smoke a pack a day, prob about 40-60 oz of coffee, on average 1/8 of weed a week, and eat everything and anything I want to no regard of its calories etc..
But I dont drink so maybe that evens it all out :)

I dont really and have never had to concern myself with health issues, Ive been the same height and weight since I was about 15 (6ft 145lbs) Sure I'd like to be be bit more healthy in my life but I'm happy.

Maybe a can or two a day, though more if there's Throwback around (Yes, I can tell the difference between syrupy ultra-sweet Corn Syrup and nice, natural sugar). Always with meals, maybe one slipped in if it sounds good. I used to guzzle it a lot when I was younger, though and it's one of the reasons I'm still pudgy.

I prefer tea if I can get it, though some is just as unhealthy as soda (though I still love you Sobe Green Tea). For whatever reason, I don't enjoy water with meals though I drink plenty during the course of a day.

Water with dinner means I'm ordering from the bar and roughly translates to "This is to wash things down while you take 10 minutes to get your ass back here with my drink."

I've tried going to diet sodas, but they start to taste the same after a while and are quite god awful. I seem to recall reading that the 'fake sugar' in diet sodas screws up the body more than regular sugar when it comes to diabeeetus, but honestly if I'm going to put shit in my body, I might as well enjoy the taste of it.

I've tried quitting but the headaches after 12 hours of no pop (yes, pop, I'm from chicago dammit) are unbearable.

For the past month, barely any. I have been drinking water 98% of the time. I saw a thread of drinking only water, and thought I would give it a try. so far, no problems amd really liking it.

I do drink way too much diet soda. Probably about four of those 16.9 oz bottles a day. I've been trying to drink a lot more water and dwindling that diet soda down though. It's not as bad as regular soda, but I'd still rather have less than more.

I don't know if any of you are like this, but I have to almost always be drinking some kind of liquid. I don't know why. A lot of times it is water, but that diet soda gets in there too much, as well. It's just hard for me to drink just water, when I have to drink so much throughout the day.

If the world was GAF Coca Cola and Pepsi would seemingly go out of business.

Either GAF is a health conscious forum or these threads only attract people that like to proclaim their healthy tendencies.

I'm going to bet on the later.

Every once in a blue moon.

I still have a 24 pack (or whatever) left over from my baby shower from about three weeks ago. I've drank one soda from it since then.

I drink probably just shy of a litre of mountain dew daily, if I have access to it. When I run out, there might be a few days before i get back to a store, but I'll drink two or three cans daily or a large bottle in 2-3 days. I'm a bit under 10 stone, so I'm not fat. I don't consume anywhere near that much of any other soda and I don't drink coffee. Mountain Dew is just the shit.

By the end of January, I will be 19 years free of soda. I don't miss it at all.
lol 19 years sober. Sounds like you had a problem.

In middle school and early high school I drank 1 can a day, sometimes two. If I went to a restaurant (which I did maybe once or twice a week) I'd have probably the equivalent to 3 cans of soda in that one sitting. I eventually realized that I would get a headache if I missed a soda on any given day. I never understand why that happened, but realized it was due to me not having a soda. At that point, I started to ween myself off. It has been 6-7 years since then, and now I enjoy a nice cold soda about once ever 3 weeks. I see no reason to eliminate it completely, but I'm more than aware of how bad it can be to drink it regularly, even the diet/zero calorie varieties.

It wasn't until a few years after I weened myself off that I realized it was a caffeine addiction. I don't purposely avoid caffeine, but I dislike all tea/coffee, rarely eat chocolate, and only have (as mentioned) the occasional soda, so my caffeine intake is very limited now. I consider this a huge success.

Start drinking a Large Farva of LiterCola, you'll never go back.

I stopped drinking it.
Weight gain is not an issue for me since I am fit and not gaining unwanted pounds anytime soon, but I am deathly afraid of what it does to teeth. It was probably more in my head than fact but I felt like my teeth were rotting while I was drinking it.

For some reason I find soda more addictive than coffee, maybe there are just more sugar, I do have a habit of drinking coffee every day or two but I could just drink something else if I'm willing, Soda I actually crave if I start.

Holy shit how some people abuse their bodies here. Nothing against a can of soda when you're out for a meal once or twice a week, but 8-10 cans every day? You guys better have great health insurance. Good luck bros

Two 20oz'ers a day at work. Like five 12oz cans when I am at home on my days off. Regular pepsi / coke all day long baby.

I used to drink two or three bottles of Dew a day until this past summer. After a visit to the dentist and a realization of how much I've been destroying myself, I've cut it out entirely. Teeth are doing better, I've lost a little bit of excess weight and my skin has cleared up. One of the best decisions I've ever made.

Been addicted to Diet Dr Pepper almost daily. Before I just used to drink water and tea, but then I just got hooked.

I used to drink one can a day when I was in Highschool but now I've cut down to 1-3 times a month.

I realize this is a fucked up and I'm the only one of my friends that consumes so much soda, but then a close friend told me he drinks about 4 cans of regular pepsi daily. O_O

Dude, there was a time when I was drinking two liters (if an average can is 0,33 liters, then I was drinking 6 times that) per day, sometimes even more. Nothing bad happened, my health checkups were okay, but now I'm just drinking fruit juices, just because.

I'm not drinking as much as I used to but yes I'm still doing like 1 litter on my days off and a lot (Large combo sized cups) during the week.

I'm stopping now though cause I suspect they're the reason I've been sick lately.

Probably will just drink water and buy some V8 fruit juice or something.

Oh and I drink energy drinks I don't know how bad that is compared to soda, I've been laying off those lately cause I'm sick of the rapid mood changes.

Maybe once every few months. The vast majority of the time I drink water, with some tea and juice mixed in. Coffee occasionally.

Apart from some vodka Redbulls I had a couple of weeks ago, I haven't had soda in almost 6 months. Don't miss it at all, and I used to drink them a lot. Water, coffee and beer for life!
