How much soda do you guys drink?

Used to drink almost 2 cans a day

Ive been cold turkey for almost 5 months now, except for one diet pepsi last week

Two 20oz bottles per day, one for lunch, one for dinner. I drink soda more for the carbonation than the flavor. That buzz hitting the tongue from the fizzyness, especially when ice cold, is much more refreshing than anything a flat drink can offer (i.e. water, juice, tea, etc). I drink mostly diet though because regular leaves a sticky residue that I find off-putting.

None, I'm lucky that I really love mineral water and cause we have the alps we have some of the most awesome water there is (fuck evian or volvic, thats shit is awful compared to Vöslauer or Waldquelle) The only stuff that I like better is some really good wine or Whiskey.

I did like Vanilla Coke but they don't sell it no more....

I think twice a week a glass or two. Unless there's a party. But that's not soda I'll be drinking. The rest, water.

Almost none, only as a mix.

Water and natural juices for me. Not for any special reason though, I just don't like them much.

So basically, there's nothing you can eat/drink besides water and veggies. Fuck that. I was advised to eat "two handfuls" of fruit every day (LOL). I drink a glass of orange juice every other day and now this is considered bad? I don't know what to believe anymore.
That's it! I'm going for the Twinkie Diet.

only drink soda on a rare occasion or when I'm mixing with spirits, which isn't often as I'm more of a beer/wine drinker.

drinking loads of soda per day is just so foreign to me and makes me quite ill to think about it

Used to be quite the diet soda addict, but now all I drink is bubbly water and beer. I feel slightly better now that I only drink water during the day, my teeth feel better too now :)

Nah, that's just fine.

But yeah, basically everything can be bad for you if you overdo it.

What's so funny? too little?

I eat about 3 - 4 pieces of fruit every day; I'm lucky because my workplace provides a lot.

As for coke, I drink it once every few months.

A lot of GAFers will tell you to eat nothing but meat, eggs and nuts.

I never drink soda anymore. I don't even order the value meals at fast food places anymore because I don't want the soda. I admit though I saw one of those Coke Freestyle machines for the first time recently, pretty slick.

Part of me wishes I drank more soda. I know it sounds weird. but I'm 35 and have to be concious of my health and what I put into my body. If I drink soda, its always Coke Zero or Diet Coke. I guess I wouldn't mind the kind of liberty I had to drink a real sugar cane Dr. Pepper or a fountain Coke when I was younger.

haven't even had a sip of any carbonated beverage in over 7 months now :D I still have so many in the fridge for when friends come over, I don't even feel any urge to drink them anymore. Water/milk and occasionally tea/coffee/juice are the only things I drink now

If the world was GAF Coca Cola and Pepsi would seemingly go out of business.

Either GAF is a health conscious forum or these threads only attract people that like to proclaim their healthy tendencies.

I'm going to bet on the later.

Pretty much. Every soda thread generally just dissolves into people talking about water and paleo diets.

Man, this weekend I'm geting Double Big Gulps from 7-11 all weekend. It's Christmas this weekend. It's a celebration, bitches!

It's funny because the article that was linked for me said that fruits are to be blamed for the obesity epidemic.

Aren't eggs supposed to be bad for the heart/arteries? Meat is supposedly also not good when processed. And nuts are pure fat. Everything is bad.

I'll drink 6 or 7 cans of Diet Dew on a weekend day. Typically 2 or 3 on a weekday.
Probably 10 or so Lo-Carb, Absolute Zero, Black Ice, or Rehab Monster Energy Drinks a week. Whichever of the ones without or with very low calorie counts and are 2 for $4 are what I grab

I drink diet drinks for the taste. I started years ago because I thought it was better than non-diet and have grown so accustomed to the taste that I can't go back. I don't drink energy drinks for the caffiene; I drink them for the taste as well.

I drink whatever the fuck I want really. And it shows I guess. But I'm still happy with my beverage choices.
I don't hate water or anything. I drink a couple bottles here and there. But it's not my go-to beverage in the winter months.

Virtually none anymore. I replaced it with
spac_lg.jpg
. Just bought a 50 pack of it recently.

maybe one big coke bottle a month. not too much i think, i can go weeks without drinking any. i prefer tea, orange juice, water or milk.

i used to drink coke every damn day, ruined my teeth so i just had to cut it down drastically. now it kinda disgusts me too sometimes..

YO, WE DRINKING THIS STRAIGHT UP WITH NO CHASER.
(Illmatic <3)

Honestly: I avoid it at all costs unless someone's already bought one for me or it comes with the meal when I get fast food on occasion. I am addicted to tea and quality coffee, though.
