i'd buy a nice used copy of a book most any day over new. why do i need some manufacturer to produce more crap when there's a perfectly good used book?

They will never flat out take a traded in game and sell it as new, but Employees can take home 'New' games to try them out, and the cases can get pretty worn on the shelves if they have been sitting there for a few years.MidnightScott said:I used to almost never buy used games. But now I've started getting into it since I can get games for much cheaper.
Though I think 2 of my DS games were one of those GameStop scams...where they sell you used as new...>_>; (this was years ago...probably in like 2005)
Some THQ guy: I don't think we really care whether used game buyers are upset because new game buyers get everything.
To which someone replied: He speaks as if they're two separate, mystical, warring sects. Many new game buyers are only in that position because they've traded in their old titles. To artificially fragment the market by speaking in these bilateral terms is naive and unnecessary.
