How often do you yell at the tv or throw the controller while playing?

No, I've never thrown anything. Is it that hard to keep control of yourself?

lol seriously, anger management helps,

i'll yell, but not vulgarities, more like "awww come on..."

The original Xbox controller (not the smaller one) fell victim to Ninja Gaiden. In fact, I eventually broke it after numerous throws. One hell of a game i tell ya.

I don't yell or throw objects, but ever since the first time I died to Cerberus on DMC3, I've started growling. It's really quite strange, and I have no idea why I do it.

A while ago my parents had to yell at me to keep it down when I didn't realize how loudly I was swearing at Dragon Quest VIII.... during their Christian Small Group meeting.

F bombs everywhere.:lol

And once I got pissed playing my red GBA and I bit it. Put a small nick in the plastic. So I don't do that anymore.

never. although I have yelled out thuings like "**** this game" and put down the controller in frustrated disgust. but I dont recall ever throwing a controller and screaming at my poor tv.

IÂ’ve never thrown anything when angry, however if I mess up big time I will shout something random and start hitting a pillow/cushion with every syllable. ItÂ’s something like

Oh for bloo-dy hell what was that you stu-pid god damn light up will-o the whisp kill-ing me straight away you bloo-dy bastard, give me some warn-ing you lu-min-ous bitch of a thing.

Or

How am I sup-posed to make that god damn jump with this piece of shit, oh my god I weigh a frik-ken ton, letÂ’s fall into the a-byss, you stupid me-tal wart-hog piece of crap

Well let's see. I never throw the controller. However, once I broke my 360 controller after losing in PES2007, but it was just a one time incident.
I always yell and do hand gestures though.

I normaly just stand up storm over the the console and turn it off mid play. I then realise that last checkpoint was over an hour ago and that im gonna have to do it all over again. The game normaly doesnt get touched for a week or more coz im too pissed of at myself for being shit at games.

Never thrown a controler, im too much of a tight arse.

Nowadays I sigh and try again and if my frustration level is to high I just turn the system off.

In the old days I would have screamed profanities and hurled the controller to the ground after an intense biting session. Trust me, NES pads aren't chewable. They'll rip your gums :)

I'm a really really calm person in everyday life, but when I play games I do tend to lose it sometimes :D

The last game that has pissed me off is Motorstorm. This level 4 race with buggies on Raingod Mesa is driving me insane. I'm pretty much always holding my controller in the air at the end of the race ready to throw it on the ground/in my TV set. But then I come to my senses, stop the game and do something else... I'm gonna beat it though.

And recently I've been playing some God of War again. This game doesn't frustrate me that much, but I do get pretty worked up. It's more like "die ********, die!!!". I love that game :D

Never. I have fun while playing videogames, and if it made me upset enough to lose control it wouldn't be that fun anymore. I enjoy pushing and taunting my friends after Tekken marathons, but in single player always perfectly calm, even when I play Ultimate Ghosts'n Goblins.

I go all wild like "How unfortunate of me to slip up" and "for the love of mike?!", followed by heavy pushing of the controller against a soft pillow. I also closed my DS once out of fury; that´ll teach him! I apologized however; poor DS.

But most of the time I just stare with disbelieve for 5 seconds; no more, no less. Or when Im playing party games with friends, I end up with a 'NOOOOO' or 'smoesjes!' ('lies!' in english).

I haven't thrown a controller in a long, long time. I might drop it on the floor out of frustration but even that is pretty rare.

Talking/cursing at the TV is more common, but I've mellowed out over the years and it's not often I will allow a game will get me that angry anymore.

But back in the day? Yeah, I lost it often. I remember slamming my small fist down on my NES, popping the cart up with a harsh clang as the system taunted me further with flashing colors. And my mom has always been cool about games, but she grew concerned during long Sonic the Hedgehog sessions as I emitted noises of frustration for which the English language has no words.

Coincidentally, the last game I can remember pissing me off to the point of serious yelling was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

Good times...

Pac Man CE has been making me yell at he TV screen. I got over 300,000 twice, and now I can't do it again. I've lost the ability! Those ghosts know my every move I tells ya!

My brain won't allow me to throw a controller. I grew up on the frustrating SF2s single player fights. They taught me how to take it and shut up. The most I do is point my finger and say, "Oh I'm so going to come back for you and own you next time." I suck at stardust...

Wow, u actually allows him to do tat?:lol
yeah, it doesn't bother me at all since seeing him going insane about some stupid game like burnout 2 is just hilarious. :lol And I know that if he broke my controller, he'd buy a new one for me.

Never threw a controller, but screaming out - pretty often ^^.

I dont remember the last time I threw a controller, it must have been years ago when I was a kid. I rarely yell at the tv either. Whenver I get frustrated I'll swear, but not too loudly, you cant call it yelling really. The only time I yell at my tv is when I'm playing PES. For instance, if one of my players made a bas pass, I'd say "what the hell are you doing", even thoughg I know perfectly well that they cant hear me and its completely pointless to say something like that.

I just throw my arms up in the air.

... and I let go of the controller at when it reaches the apex. :D

Ive lost so many controllers in the past. Ive kicked a hole in the wall over the level "Cavalry" on Ace Combat 2 on hardest mode, about 6 xbox controllers thanks to Splinter Cell VS mode tension (and lag), 2 360 controllers to Therion guards (look at all that juice indeed), and a few megadrive controllers to ultimate mk3 and the cheating bitch jade.

I may have a problem.

I just yell at people i ventrilo now... I used to just take off my headphones and just toss them (not hard) kinda just throw them in utter disgust.

While playing Halo 2 online multiplayer a couple years ago I hit EJECT picked up the disc and whipped it into the kitchen. I ran to the kitchen picked up the disc and whipped it into the living room. lol

I dont play fighting games anymore because my mind cannot handle them.

I had to have a pillow next to me when playing Marble Blast Ultra for punching.

Other than that, I'm pretty mellow.

I love my desk. Everytime I get pissed off, I bang on it. And it's got a very satisfying response. Very solid too, so no chance of breaking it.

Otherwise, I'll yell at the TV all the time. Part of the fun of playing video games!

That is what I do.

"Damn.."

"Aww"

"You ass"

I remember when I was really young, I would get really pissed, and if my little brother were to just so happen to walk in at that time, I would yell at him to go away.

Only did that a few times, though. Never did it again.

I swear, some of you people would probably scare me away if you started tossing things all over the place, screaming because of a game.

Whenever I get frustrated with a game I usually mutter in a really furious, stuttering way, kind of like Muttley but louder.

Occasionally when I get REALLY mad with a game that I clearly lost due to unfair circumstances, I tend to try and twist, crush or strangle the controller. I'd never, ever throw it, I have way too many windows/fragile things to do that. And even then I don't get like that often anymore (last time was with Sonic and the Secret Rings)

LIES!

You can't break the Duke controller.

Oddly enough, the only game to illicit a crazed reaction from me in years has been Radiata Stories. I kept dying for stupid reasons because I wasn't being careful during the quest to get some tusks or whatnot. Usually I don't care at all about frustrating game scenarios, but at the time I was tossing my controller hard into the dresser and yelling something along the lines of "****ING. WHAT. ****."

I've played much harder games than this without making a peep, too.

.- the Windmill in Bianco hills: want to have the view from behind Mario? sorry, does not compute, deal with it, bastard. We will always move the camera whichever way we want just to piss you off, how about that?

Oh god, that part was ****ing terrible... :lol

I used to yell a lot when playing Madden and NCAA, but only since I made it a rule that if I started a game in season mode I would finish it. I swear to god about once a season EA would turn on the "**** You" mode and there is about nothing you can do to win. Non-stop fumbling and other bullshit.

Besides those I am fairly calm with my games. If I start to get angry I usually just turn it off. That was until the weekend when I finally decided to play Call of Duty 2 on veteran mode. I was yelling at the TV nonstop during the Silo stage (the part where you capture the five buildings). The weird thing is I get so frustrated playing the same thing over and over I tend to quit using tactics and just bum rush everything, and I usually end up beting it that way.

When I was younger I used to throw my controller on rare occasions. Some times pretty hard like the N64 controller, if you throw it hard enough the memory card or rumble pack wil eject across the room. Most of the time the controllers survived.

Actual damage:

-gamecube controller: I either dropped it on the floor or I punched it, anyway the left shoulder button didn't function anymore.

-dreamcast controller: I might have damaged more than one. They never could take much abuse

-GBA: This is the worst. I smashed my head into the screen after playing F-Zero maximum velocity. I was on my last life in the final cup on expert or master difficulty. I was 1st but the AI was on my heels. There was one final jump left and I knew that I would have to take it to win the race. When I was airborne I knew it was going to be close but I had a good chance of making it. Offcourse I came short and flew off the track. It's that moment in which you realise that all your effort is waisted and you have to go through the entire ordeal again. I My brain just couldn't comprehend....
