Krillin is the only human who is ALWAYS there when there's a fight. No matter how tough the opponent. Yamcha and Tenshinhan are nowhere to be found, claiming they're too weak or training somewhere remote or whatever. But the second there's any bad ki around, who's the first person flying towards it besides the Saiyans and Piccolo? That's right, motherfucking badass Kuririn, that's who.
Guy has more balls than anyone, of course a strong woman like #18 would dig that.

Well the androids never actually killed anyone if I remember correctly. I mean Bulma fucked Vegeta and Yamcha and they both tried to kill her friends at some point.
Lunch was blinked out of existence though.

Launch was thirsty as hell and Tien never reciprocated. I think Tien is asexual or something.
Technically, he sort of did, because he wished for her to be fully human, but then the dragon said that was beyond his power, so he settled for removing the remote-control bomb in her chest.
But he didn't need to wish for her to have lady parts, because she always had those. 17&18 are "organic" androids, similar to Cell (except made from an existing human starting point, instead of made from scratch), which was why Cell was able to complete himself by absorbing them, unlike 16 (who Cell couldn't eat), or 19&20 (who Vegeta smashed).
As for how Krillin ended up with 18, she gave Krillin a dismissive kiss after she broke Vegeta's arm, because Krillin was no threat to the Androids and this was to show that he was beneath their attention. That little flirtation pushed Krillin into falling for her.
Krillin made a big move when he showed up with her kill switch, and then smashed it. He shocked her by being a bigger threat than she thought possible, and then by being the first person to ever treat her like a real person. People like Vegeta had previously treated her like the monster which Dr Gero had made her, an object to be destroyed, resulting in her acting like one. But Krillin was different. He fought Cell to protect her, even though they both knew how hopeless that fight was. She saw that he was willing to die for her.
Then after she was brought back by the Dragonballs, she saw him make another big move when he wished her bomb away, freeing her from any kill switch. And then she saw him admit that he liked her, but he wished for 17's freedom too, because he wished for her happiness more than he wished for some unattainable shot at her.
That's when she confronted him and said that all these big moves that he's doing haven't won her over, but... 17 is her brother, not her boyfriend. That was basically an invitation for him to continue chasing her, after he had quit. The big moves did have an effect, and now she's willing to entertain the idea of conecting with Krillin, but they didn't seal the deal and she wants more of this sort of thing from Krillin.
Offscreen, Krillin clearly didn't give up. He continued to chase her and he continued to win her favor, until she completely accepted him.
Arguably the most realistic love story yet seen in anime.

18 doesn't look like the girl who would care much about looks. Krillin was probably the first guy who cared about her so she was moved by it.

Krillin refusing to deactivate 18 and using a wish to make the selfdestruct device in her to be removed got him some booty points too. Plus Krillin is a cool guy. Guess Roshi's porn stache didn't make him a entirely bad.

Yeah, Krillin knows when he's outmatched, but he'll still put his life on the line if he thinks it'll help. Compare this to Yamcha, who just decided at some point that he was going to stay the fuck home.
I think it's pretty stupid that Krillin goes off to help fight Freeza when 18 could definitely beat the shit out of Krillin. Krillin should just be a stay at home Dad and 18 should have helped with Frieza tbh. Sexist Toriyama.
Or Tenshinhan who got all pissy when Vegeta joined the gang.
Dude basically prefers the Earth being destroyed to working with the team if they have Vegeta on board.

It's kinda natural that she has affection for a human. And Krillin is like the strongest human in the history of humanity. All girls would bow down to him.
Krillin didn't became an Police Officer for nothing.
He has a strong sense for justice, and has decided to use it where it's needed, because when evil aliens invade the earth again, there are people stronger than him to deal with that (wich doesn't stop him from appearing anyway btw), but no one of those cares for the regular people.

For Toriyama, a woman is only able to fight so that she can prove she's worthy to marry one of the male fighters. Once they've landed their man, they have reached the finish line and don't have to fight anymore.
It's ridiculous.
Pretty stupid. 18's power level is probably higher than Gohan's in Super yet we have to deal with all of these weak asses fighting alongside Vegeta and Goku.

It's strange when you think about it, but at 18's power level she could have solo'd Frieza's entire army without taking any damage.
He may be lacking compared to his Z-fighter peers in almost every way, but the guy's got fuckin' heart. Dude wouldn't cheat on 18 if his life depended on it, and he ain't no neglectful/absentee father like Goku or Vegeta. 18 got herself a good man yo, one she can easily manipulate. And he's cool with it.
Tien never cared for launch (neither did Toriyama, but that's besides the point)
At least Yamcha now just chills with his friends, didn't really end that bad for him.
Shouldn't Gohan still be really strong after having his power unlocked on the Kai's planet?

Also all these Yamcha haters need to step off. Yeah so he sucked in fights in Dragon Ball Z. I loved him in Dragon Ball. His fights always had this scrappy, more realistic feel to them.
Can't Puar change into anyone he wants? Sounds like Yamcha won out in the end.
That was my thought, too. Yamcha could have any woman via Puar.
I thought Trunks said that the Vegeta/Bulma ship was basically based on Bulma pitying him and getting a sort of Florence Nightengale thing going?
"Shouldn't" means something completely different to Toriyama.

If you had to choose someone to rely on, Krillin would have your back.
He's also the only one of the Z-Warriors to use his abilities to help individuals. Goku'll will save the planet, but he won't help if you're getting mugged. The others train, meditate, play superhero for a day or play baseball. They don't give a fuck.

I would imagine Bulma was attracted to this Prince with a huge chip on his shoulder that maintains his pride all the time. I think it even mentioned that at one point, he was so prideful.
Then Super just explained a bit ago that he and Goku are attracted to their women because Saiyan women are all strong-willed. Then they acted slightly embarrassed about it and Piccolo was flabbergasted by the revelation and everyone had a grand time doing whatever afterward.
