I was going to say, I may not know people's personalities all that much based on name (certain exceptions) but it's pretty much all based off avatars. I see an avatar and I start to remember other comments that avatar has made and then the personality starts to evolve. That's why you should never EVER change your avatar frequently, unless you have something like TTOB who has the revolving avatar but it's all kinda the same.

Basically I recognise about 85% of the posters in this thread, which leads me to my next point…

For the past 6 months I’ve spent WAY too much time browsing/reading GAF, and this thread really drives that home.

Part of my NY resolution for 09 was to stop posting/browsing GAF entirely. It was easy for the first 20 days because I was banned anyway, but as of today I’m going to try my hardest to quit for good. I was thinking about doing an epic gay/scat porn suicide type thing, but decided to try and be dignified on GAF for once.
