You're right. I could have easily told him no, and probably should have. I guess it just seemed kinda shady with me having no license on me and supposedly he couldn't find my name in "the system." (which is odd, because I definitely have a valid license) So I was trying to be as cooperative as possible.
none of my business, but since you brought it up, i'm curious. what do you have a warrant for?
Well all I know is that my radar detector worked when I left the house to pick up my gf. And after the cop situation it no longer worked.
I turn the radar detector on with the spinning switch on the side by pushing it forward. You push it forward until it clicks (which turns it on), and continue to spin it forward to turn up the volume. You turn it off by spinning it back until it clicks. And the switch doesn't click anymore, almost like he turned it off but kept forcefully spinning it back to break it. I can't get it to turn on anymore. It just keeps spinning with no click in both directions.
sorry if that didn't make any sense, its kinda hard to describe. It's a cheap 40 dollar radar detector and I've had it for almost 2 years. But it's saved my ass so many times it's not even funny. And the fact that it suddenly breaks on me after a cop searches my car is a little too suspicious if you know what I mean.
