I have the worst bloating and gas pains.

All morning my stomach has been distended with horrific pain shooting across my abdomen. It's probably from the can of French onion dip I ate last night while watching Clemson/LSU and the huge bowl or raison bran I had right after. I tried to calm it with 4 eggs and bacon earlier, but it only made it worse. I just downed 2 GasX pills.. hoping it's gas and not something more serious.

...you tried to calm it down with 4 eggs and bacon?
 
As a man who has Crohn's I feel you. Take charcoal pills, you won't believe how comfortable you'll get. All the gas will be out of your system in no time!
 
I think if you have trouble like this reoccurring you should get Bile Salt supplements.

I have been using 2 tablets per day and all my digestion related troubles have disappeared.

We think it was the dairy. Normally, the only dairy I eat is sugar free creamer in my coffee.

Lol, what? You don't calm flatulence with that type of food.
You should try activated charcoal.

Stay stocked with Gas-X, Beano, Pepto pills, Lactaid pills and youll be ready for any discomfort. My stomach is forever fucked. I can probably fix it by never eating anything. But with the pills im ready for battle. I probably come off like a beluga but I'm not lol.

I like @Mista have some serious issues and Keifr is helping me get off the meds now.

Drink Ginger Ale, it will help calm down your tummy and hopefully the carbonation will help you get rid of some gas.
Either that or take a dump.
 
I have GERD dawg, It's the worst. Might be that

Stay away from Mint, Fried Foods, Citrus, Chocolate, Caffiene until it clears up. Eat slow and small bites. Prilosec and Gas-X

My sister had GERD so bad she was getting scar tissue in her throat and was losing her voice. I told her about low stomach acidity, she was on multiple PPIs that was suppressing her stomach acid levels to the point she was losing hair and bloating etc. She started Betain HCL and is now off all of the meds. Suppressing stomach acid can be devastating if you aren't actually in need of it. The Baking Soda test can be a good clue if you need more or less acidity. I don't burp until 5-7 mins which shows very low acid levels.


The most important part of your post is eating slower and chewing more. Makes a bigger difference than most would think.

Walk a mile or two or do crunches. Alternatively you can sacrifice a goat to Glycon.
 
I feel you. I don't have as much pain, but just took my 3rd poop of the day. Usually I am a one poop a day man. Not sure whats going on with me today but the toilet at work is getting a hardy meal.
 
Joke thread??? If not lemon and fruits with citrus and vitamin c will help to digest high fiber/mineral and protein/fatty meals.
Lemon/limes reign king in this department, but oranges and berries like strawberries are pretty decent still lemons r ur go 2.
 
Ive been eating a ton of brussel sprouts, and broccoli over the past few months. I've been farting like a god damn champ. Loud, stinky bombs of chaos.
 
I just recently decided to only eat food that doesnt make me feel bad. It's a pretty small list. I eat a lot of fish, rice, yogurt, fruit and vegetables, salads, nuts, and eat out only once or twice a week now.

Makes a huge difference. I dont miss the bad foods much anymore honestly.

Are you serious. I have the worst stomach problems nowadays and literally can't figure it out. I'm gonna try this too. Doesnt hurt. Thanks.

Yeah it really does help. Digestion starts in your mouth. Swallowing things that aren't chewed and mixed with saliva makes it harder for your stomach to digest. Food that is undigested can sit in your intestines and basically ferment causing leaky gut, gas and other things.

Do some research on Betaine HCL, it triggers Hydrocloric acid production and helps break things down.

also Keifr is amazing for correcting stomach issues. One cup of that has more probiotic strains/amount vs a whole bottle of probiotics. Like I said in another post, I'm getting off meds now where last year I was close to having my colon removed from UC. Shit literally saved my ass. :)

Sit in a chair with good posture, turn your waist to a 90 degree angle left, hold, then right, hold. Repeat x5
This helps me when all else fails and I have no 'medication/bathroom'.

sometimes when i have gas pains i fart and it makes me feel better LOL i have no idea why it works its so weird LOL
 
Literally on the shitter right now for round 2.

Stomach pains; went to toilet and let loose (scuse pun) some shit and couldnt pass anymore. By the time I'd walked down the hallway my tummy was rumbling and I had to dash back again to spray the sides some more.

Been feeling sick for the past fortnight with god knows what, might aswell finish with a stomach bug
