NoI also wonder if Royal will look better on PS5?
it'll look how it runs on PS4 Pro. i believe it runs at 4K 30fps. i played it on PS4 Slim and it's slightly better looking than P5. they have improved visuals a bit but nothing major.I also wonder if Royal will look better on PS5?
I don't think this will change that much if you was tired after 2 hours lolI had this exact same question OP. Glad the pacing is far better - base Persona 5 was fun but it felt way too grindy after a couple hours.
royal was a bit too easy for me. batons pass is way more powerful so combat is a lot easier. it can be as easy or hard as you want it to be.I had this exact same question OP. Glad the pacing is far better - base Persona 5 was fun but it felt way too grindy after a couple hours.
love your avatar btw <3Yes.
You somehow played 45 hours of a game, bringing you maybe halfway through it, and you are about to start all over again rather than finishing it ?So I'm 45 hours in Persona 5, in Okumuras palace. Persona 5 Royal is on sale, should I get it and start over there or just finish Persona 5 vanilla? I hate the pacing of the game btw.
If you get the ultimate edition, you get free persona that are so OP... it's even worst. They also made the platinum much more easier, no way you could do it in one run in original P5.royal was a bit too easy for me. batons pass is way more powerful so combat is a lot easier. it can be as easy or hard as you want it to be.
for social stats/confidants...i maxed out my stats well before the end of the game and out of all the confidants (there are more in Royal) i only didn't max out maybe 4 of them and that's because i didn't want to.
yeah i bought the ultimate edition. yup there are like lvl 99 ones there you can get lol.If you get the ultimate edition, you get free persona that are so OP... it's even worst. They also made the platinum much more easier, no way you could do it in one run in original P5.
i wouldn't do that for any other game but it makes some sense for Persona 5. so much is changed. better pacing, quality of life improvements, loads of new content. there is no reason to play Persona 5 anymore. Even if i was 40-50 hours in i'd restart to play the superior version. You somehow played 45 hours of a game, bringing you maybe halfway through it, and you are about to start all over again rather than finishing it ?
I have been playing RPGs for 30 years and I would never do this. I would finish the game I managed to dedicate 45 hours of my free time. That's simply my take of course
I wish I waited in my case... did 2 run of P5... I played P5R until the four palace and overdosedi wouldn't do that for any other game but it makes some sense for Persona 5. so much is changed. better pacing, quality of life improvements, loads of new content.
Couple of hours can mean more than 2 lol...I don't think this will change that much if you was tired after 2 hours lol
I see. But is it going to be longer to start again P5R, or to complete P5 ? That's an important information I think.i wouldn't do that for any other game but it makes some sense for Persona 5. so much is changed. better pacing, quality of life improvements, loads of new content. there is no reason to play Persona 5 anymore. I don't know, I did P2 / P3 / P4 after and P5 is deffo taking ages (obviously P2 is very slow but that's due to the evolution of gaming in general) so I can deffo see where you coming from. Will I enjoy Royal if I hated the original after the second dungeon?
I enjoyed all Persona games up to this point, including the PSone ones, but this one was in my head not really salvageable (other than making the calendar bigger and the game "easier"). But I'm curious regardless.
Too much text, (that phone overlay was Shenmue 1 "real-life sim" in 2016 on a 120 hour game levels of horrible) too much recap and generic characters I didn't care for coming left and right.
But, I wonder if I changed as well. Persona 2 IS/EP, Persona 3 and Persona 4 felt like a slamdunk to me.
Both Persona 2 were slow as hell, I remember falling asleep if I kept playing it late, which is common with old SMT games for me, sepia color pallete and nothing happening on screen.I don't know, I did P2 / P3 / P4 after and P5 is deffo taking ages (obviously P2 is very slow but that's due to the evolution of gaming in general) so I can deffo see where you coming from.
I see, I really wanted to like it, and I even finished it ultimately. But after a certain point I was just skipping every wall of text/heart to heart that was story related, and still feeling I wasn't missing anything. To answer more your question, I don't think you gonna have a very different experience with Royal. There are a lot of changes and they made some moments less long but its mostly the same trame
shame, i enjoyed a lot myself but everyone has a different feeling. What's your favourite one btw? I'm thinking P4GBoth Persona 2 were slow as hell, I remember falling asleep if I kept playing it late, which is common with old SMT games for me, sepia color pallete and nothing happening on screen.
But it had a lot of soul. I really liked it.
I also snoozed a lot with P5 come to think of it.

I didn't play Golden, but I felt Persona 4 on PS2 was very complete, so when Golden came out I didn't feel I was missing much.shame, i enjoyed a lot myself but everyone has a different feeling. What's your favourite one btw? I'm thinking P4G
Now that would be an awesome thing to re-release on consoles.I would play Persona 4 Golden if you have not already. It's a much better game.
I think they're both great but persona 4 on my vita was a real surprise and changed my whole opinion of jrpgs.. played p3p too...I would play Persona 4 Golden if you have not already. It's a much better game.
It is definitely the better game, not just more content, but faster loading, and morgana somewhat stfu about sleeping all the time totally recommend, just like p4golden vs p4Damn, I didn't realize Royal is so much additional content. I've been playing Persona 5 from the PS5 PS+ bundle but might want to just buy Royal now.
