I'm sort of in the same boat and similarly torn.
Battlefield 1 looks and sounds absolutely phenomenal, and when you're with a squad that sticks together (or can sidle up with another squad that's working well), it can be a great time. When that doesn't work out, though, it's kind of a drag. Even when playing my best, I never really felt like I had much agency in whether my team won or lost.
The Titanfall 2 beta felt like a defanged Titanfall proper, with a whole host of issues, but I felt like I had more fun with it overall. It turns out that even if Titanfall takes a few huge steps back, it's still an OK time.
Personally leaning toward Titanfall 2 at the moment. For me, I had more fun with the multiplayer, the campaign sounds more interesting (not what you're looking for, but still), and free map DLC should keep what community is there from being segregated once it drops. Still needs a lot of work, and I don't think it'll ever really be the game I hoped it to be, but it seems alright.
I'm sure the $50 content that comes with the Battlefield 1 season pass will be good, but it's not something I'm willing to cough up on top of the cost of the game.
