i want a 007: NightFire HD Remake

I'm sorry, but Agent Under Fire is actually secretly the best of the last-last gen Bond games.

Why?

Grappling. Hooks.

That is all.

Oh wait.....THIS was the 007 game I loved so much on the GC. I take everything back. Fuck Nightfire gimme that one.

Imagine this in 1080p with jiggling!

Man an HD trilogy of the best 3 or collection of all last gens bond games would be amazing. I wonder if they could come to PS2 Classics on PSN.

That's probably the most likely thing that could happen with Activision holding the license, than EA being the developer, and than there's the Bond licensing people too.

Multiplayer mode, one shot kills, Q Claw usable on every surface, this was the way to play the game.
Agent Under Fire also has the cheesiest Bond in video games which has to be worth something.

I loved that one, too. Didn't it have Jetpacks, too?
It did indeed.

I remember being quite impressed with it back in the day. Agent under fire was absolutely awful, EoN was alright but I wouldn't have put it as anything special. This game was pretty good and carried on what Goldeneye started, which was a nice break from all the Halo clones at the time.

Looking it up Eurocom made the wii/ps3 goldeneye game too. I didn't mind the first level but never played much beyond that due to being sidetracked. I might have to give it another go.

damn, can't believe I forgot about this game. My friends and I would play the shit outta it during sleepovers. Definitely would love an HD remake.

This was one of my favorite games i had on the gamecube. soo much fun, especially the multiplayer (offline; split screen)

It was pretty good, but I didn't like the car segments, and the level design was often pretty basic. Medal of Honor Frontline was much better.

I hated this game. What did you expect, when I was brought up with Goldeneye? There was no going back. I only had my nostalgia and my hatred.

Now I realize that I am old. I am sure the Nightfire guys couldnt have been more than a few years younger than me. Only chance had it that I was right there when Goldeneye came out in 97, and that changed everything. 12 Years old, boyyaaa. First time using the sniper rifle I almost got a panic attack. Scary as hell. Creepy music.

I bought this for the GameCube not too long ago and played through it. 'Twas quite fun. At some point I'm going to play through the other Bond games I bought at the same time, like Everything or Nothing.

Nightfire was the best FPS Bond game.

Way better than Goldeneye which only seems to still have its "best ever" moniker due to nostalgia.

Agent Under Fire was way better too. I'd put it about on par with Nightfire.

I really do not understand how EA could have dropped the ball so hard on their own version of GoldenEye.

Glad you all liked it :)

I played the PC version on Win7 64bit recently with 0 problems. Still plays great.

GoldSrc (PC version)
Quake III (Console Version)

clutchsauce.

Actually, the console versions used a proprietary Eurocom engine, but for some reason someone keeps editing Wikipedia to say it used Quake III (I think AUF used a Q3-derived engine).

Agent Under Fire, Nightfire and Everything Or Nothing were great. Then Rogue Agent and From Russia With Love came along and fucked it all up.

We have to draw the line somewhere. If we make Nightfire we might as well just have HD remakes of Barbie's Horse Adventure as well.

Where does it end OP? Where does it end?

Maybe, but I probably won't buy it unless it was completely redone. I liked it (and Agent Under Fire) back when they came out, mostly the multiplayer but also the campaign mode, but I went back to it recently I discovered they both are horrible games, even compared to their contemporaries.

Everything or Nothing is the only one that remotely holds up these days, so I wouldn't mind a rerelease of that.

My friend and I would co op against as many bots as possible all the time..... many many hours into this game. I'm not sure a remake would really offer anything though, as the appeal was being in the same room with someone....and we all know that people don't really hang out with other people anymore.
