Asheron's Call. Blah he would at least start with 2 if it is still running!Ace Combat?
Armored Core?
Asheron's Call?
Asssasin's Creed?
Atari Classics?
There's enjoying a game and there's enjoying a game.steve said:If you enjoy the game, buy it.
Amazing how the gaming industry keeps getting bigger despite no one apparently buying any games.steve said:It's no wonder games sell less copies these days with attitudes like these.
If you enjoy the game, buy it. Renting is the downfall of the industry. It keeps prices high, hurts companies that need your support and prevents sequels to great games.
that's like the exact opposite of what I expected for ACWario64 said:

Drinky Crow said:great game, but it *is* a sandbox game and can get a bit repetitive. it's definitely an improvement over uncharted. buy it!
Same here... Like SMB is Super Mario Bris, NOT Super Monkey Ball...Android18a said:I always think AC is Animal Crossing...

bishoptl said:I'd say give it a rent first before you make a purchasing decision, if at all possible. The first few hours are some of the most fun I've had gaming in ages...then you realize what a grind you're in for and repetition sets in. You should definitely check it out, though. Hell of an experience.
Props to Ubi for setting the game in a politically dicey arena as well. I hope with the sequel they explore that aspect more fully.

Anyways, I hated AC. Well actually I liked it until the 4th assassination then I got completely BORED with it.
Once I got counters down, I never bothered with stealth unless I absolutely had to. Stabbing people left and right, slashing guards to trigger massive brawls, the works.Dr_Cogent said:I would pick fights constantly and see how many guys I could take down in a single fight.

If the game was as great as they say it is they wouldn't need to come in here to tell us about it.

jk....well kind of.
monkspider said:For me, AC sounds like the absolute ideal game to wait for bargain prices on.
1. It apparently sold a ridiculous amount of copies, so there will be plenty of used copies floating around soon and the price is likely to drop relatively fast.
2. The reviews were very much mixed, so if you are in the 50% of the population that will utterly hate it, you won't feel bad having not spent that much money on it. If you are in the 50% that will love it passionately, you will be proud of yourself for discovering a value-priced gem.
Frenck said:That seems to be the problem. Hardly anyone has played Uncharted and we have to trust unreliable media outlets who hate great games and praise generic ones![]()
First of all I need a PS3, then I'll need a demo and then I'll decide whether I simply hate Uncharted for kicks or hate it with a passion to get back at all the AC haters.
This posts needs more hate
You finish your main goal but the bigger picture is left open. I think they handled it pretty well.Cap7ain Blood said:I haven't gotten a chance to rent AC yet but i was wondering without any spoilers were you happy with the ending or was it so left open for a sequel that it was unsatisfying.
