I mean, I'm sure it could. It would have to spend a lot of time floating through rifts, where on PS5 it's almost instantaneous.
Playable, but probably not very fun.
It means insomniac are wizards.
And the ones that transport you to a completely different map instantaneously? Or the camera transitions to a different planet between characters?90% of the rifts in the game are close by/same proximity and could just as easily be a fast swing rope. (it was a gimmick more than a game changing feature)
No need to wait floating through most of the rifts at all assuming they adapt it even in the slightest, thus would be completely playable.
so much more intimidating...
Returnal at 30 FPS and no DualSense sounds like a terrible way to play such a great game.Returnal and The Last of Us Part 1 can barely run on Steam Deck at 30fps so I don't have much hope for this.
Not even 30. Mostly 20s to drops into the teens. Rog Ally can do a stable 30, but as you said 30 sucks in this game. Normal PC or laptop is the way to go.Returnal at 30 FPS and no DualSense sounds like a terrible way to play such a great game.
I'm sure it will run on low settings but it just proves that if developers are conscious and making the right decisions, the series s shouldn't be a problem. Can't wait to see how it runs on steam deck.
The steam deck has an SSD...
I love my Deck, but I'm gonna pass. Not even 30. Mostly 20s to drops into the teens. Rog Ally can do a stable 30, but as you said 30 sucks in this game. Normal PC or laptop is the way to go.
The Zen4 CPU in the RoG is the main upgraded the SD needs. Not even 30. Mostly 20s to drops into the teens. Rog Ally can do a stable 30, but as you said 30 sucks in this game. Normal PC or laptop is the way to go.
