I like Greninja and was pleasantly surprised to see him get into Smash. When playing Pokemon X, I kept thinking he'd work nicely in Smash, but was too new so I gave up thinking about it.
Also his trailer had Charizard hype in it, a character I thought was sure to be cut while watching the direct, but who made an appearance in an amazing video. He's my favorite Pokemon and was one of my favorite Brawl characters except I couldn't play him much because of his stupid switch gimmick.
Greninja is ok in my book.
In my headcanon the Wario Bike reps Mario Kart Wii, since I saw it in that game first lol. So it works fine for me!
But anyway, wouldn't it be easier to work on, playtest, etc more than one DLC character at a time? Seems kind of silly to bring in the KI actors twice, playtest twice, translate twice, and so on when that could be consolidated into one session.
Unless they recorded KI lines for a bunch of potential DLC ahead of time, which seems possible. The voice actors must have been in relatively recently because of some of the lines Dark Pit has which I'm not entirely sure existed before he was a character (as there wouldn't have been a reason for an alt costume to have them).
The KIU thing actually isn't necessary. People, in the game's coding, found a generic conversation that didn't refer to any character, and implied that they were from another dimension, which could easily be used for all of the DLC characters.
Ugh, this would seem so sloppy. If the DLC characters aren't 100% integrated into the game as if they were stock, might as well not even bother making DLC characters if they're half assed. It even bothers me Miis aren't in All Star (there's no reason they can't be...)
). Just imagine if we got a Wario Land 3ds game. My mind would be in pieces.
