If you could fund the development of any game...

Most of the sequels/follow-ups I wanted years ago ended up coming out but the two stragglers are Banjo-Kazooie 3 and Mega Man Legends 3. Unfortunately neither are likely to ever happen

Title: ONI 2.
Genre: Open World; 3rd person; action game.

Jedi Knight 3 (More Kyle Katarn)
Quake Remake / Quake V
System Shock 3
Ghost and Goblins 3D platformer
Twisted Metal Black 2
Road Rash
Bushido Blade

An Aki WWE game or a new Tony Hawk with retro gameplay.

I would fund an open world classic Digimon World. Similar to the PS One version, except far more advanced. Either that or a huge sandbox MMO similar to Star Wars Galaxies but this time it'll have a decent combat and mission structure.

Shounen open world RPGs set in alternate universes co-developed by Platinum Games for the combat, Atlus for the plot, and CDProjekt Red for the Western RPG-style leveling + environments.

Naruto, One Piece, I'll take either and drop $100 on each one.

A Toy Commander reboot for Wii U & 3DS and/or PS4 & PSVita with cross-play, competitive & cooperative local multiplayer and competitive & cooperative online multiplayer.

I'm hoping this is what Cyberpunk 2077 will be.

Hopefully it'll scratch that itch, although from the teaser it looks a bit too SciFi for my taste, i'd prefer it remained more grounded.
Also, correct me if i'm wrong, but it's set in America, not in East Asia.

My dream game is an open world action rpg set in medieval Japan with light fantasy elements. There is no overarching storyline but rather hundreds of missions that are found organically.

You can play as a samurai, ninja, merchant, peasant, whatever. You can fight wars, assassinate nobles, set up trade or just tend your farm.

The combat would be Bushido Blade crossed with Dark Souls. Double jump is possible. There would be platforming elements also. Single player only but you can trade items with other player-merchants.

AKI inspired wrestling game or a new road rash AAA games. Indy game a new return fire and new the horde.

Suikoden 6. The series has such good fundamentals. It's hard to understand why a worthy sequel couldn't be done on a budget (though easy to understand why it can't be done by current Konami staff).

Here's a list.

Phantasy Star 5 (Wii U)
Shin Megami Tensei Wii U remake (eShop. 2 and if... added if Physical/Retail)
Mischief Makers 2 (Wii U)
Crash Team Racing 2 (Vita/PS4 crossplay)

But my most wanted game I'd fund would be an early Post-Apocalyptic (Think of post-apocalyptic Tokyo in Shin Megami Tensei 1, but not quite as destroyed yet) or a cyberpunk themed first person dungeon crawler on the Wii U.
Ugh just the thought alone makes me want to ughghghghghgh.asdasdsafdgfdgjbfdjkgfd.

Survival horror open world game in the vein of REmake, but with a limited amount of firearms and a crafted melee weapon system that isn't over the top. I'd like to set it in a futuristic forest-like environment but with a lot of claustrophobic parts to keep the tension going. I'd also take the Crimson Head concept and expand it so that certain enemies can keep, mutating and coming back. I've thought about this quite a bit, since it might piss off players who like multiple characters interact, but I'd also like to have the experiences told through your character's journal where they write their experiences down, and there would be tons (and I mean tons) of files and intel to give the creepy backstory of the world. You're the only actual human being in the game, but the protagonist does act rationally despite shitting their pants like a normal person (something the Resident Evil games have never truly done unfortunately).

I still don't have a fleshed-out full game, but something like that.

A proper and full fledged AAA next gen The Guardian Legend. Full on 3rd person corridors and open world and the game would keep the original NA story with added elements tying in why Naju was sent on collision course with Earth. Would be GOTY period.

Something original. Have some ideas, mostly space (combat) simulator stuff. Hardcore, very realistic, with multiplayer as focus (trying to beat human players is so much more satisfying than beating AI).

This is along the lines of what I want. I'll take an MMO with the theoretical space combat of Star Citizen and economy of Eve. When fighting with infantry and vehicles inside an atmosphere we'll mix Arma with the insane detail of Digital Combat Simulator. Also some sort of Titanfall-ish synergy between space-ground combat.

Oculous-Rift support of course
