If you could own any arcade machine, what would it be?

All of the Time Crisis arcades. Mostly the original. So much memories.

Also, a Simpsons one but I can seem to remember which.

I have a Super Neo 29" Type II modded with 7 action buttons per player that I use mostly to play Neo Geo games, genesis, and the occasional arcade board. Sure, an Egret might be nice for easy rotation, but that weirdo 5-button harness would probably make me want to hold onto a proper Capcom wired cab for SF2 World Warrior or any other fighters that I might want to get into on a game night.

The night before I decided to buy it, I was so excited that I could hardly sleep. I'll probably just get an astro city to go along with the above cab if I feel I need a dedicated tate setup.

I've had the cab since 2004 or so and only recently did I feel like I needed another with so many widescreen arcade style games coming out. I'm going to try to finish up a custom viewlix to scratch that itch as soon as the pS360+ chips are available in the US.

Probably Daytona USA 2.

Another possibility I forgot about before:

The seat moves as you play, it feels like a rollercoaster ride - you even need to wear a seatbelt. The XBLA version is great, but it just isn't the same.

Sega recently had some glasses free 3D arcade shooters. Not sure if they were good but they look interesting.

Wow, what a question. I'd really like to own a lot of cabinets and have a mini arcade in my house.

I'd rather have the X-Men 6 player cabinet.

First off, I'd like to say that 6 player X Men machine kicks ass I would definitely want that.

Also, I'd like one of these:

I really love this game and a lot of other scrolling vertical shmups but mostly the Raiden series.

I'd also like House of the Dead (all of them or at least the first one), CarnEvil, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Gauntlet Legends and Dark Legacy and maybe Power Stone because I haven't seen one of those machines in ages! I can probably think of a million more but then I'd just be listing and that would get annoying.

Tank! Tank! Tank!

This thing will shake the fillings out of your teeth. The wheel kicks as you shoot and the chair kicks as you move, get hit, or do just about anything. A total blast to play. Best arena battle arcade setup I've ever played.

Sega rally 2 4 way :).

Moving chairs and super loud.....

Love arcade games. Arcades need to come back in full strength in the UK.

Metal slug cabs are great aswell

A simple man with simple tastes. Either of these.

720 Degrees (Eat your heart out Tony Hawk!)

Man I would love to source the soundtrack for this game, really kick arse tunes. Simple but grungy as hell.
There is a refurbished one on Ebay in Pennsylvania for $2k. Man I have the money too, just live in the wrong country.

And I played this a few years ago and was very impressed.

difficult choice between two

original Star Wars sit down cabinet

or

Daytona USA sit down cabinet

(or if I won the lottery, the Joypolis Sega rally hydraulic platform with a full size Celica mounted on it)

or an afterburner G-LOC cab, then mod it to run a racing sim.

Does anyone make modern cocktail arcade cabinets? Quite fancy a coffee table arcade machine.

The Rise of the Robots arcade cab, of course. Supposedly the only non-crappy version of the game, but never went past location test, is unmamed and no cab has survived to this day.

Version 2 or 3, I'm not fussed.

Used to get free games on them at a movie theatre near work. Many a long lunch was spent battling the virtual downhill.

To me, it'll be that one from b15sdm. The best custom cabinet, I've ever seen.

Easy choice for me, give me a sit down San Francisco Rush: The Rock Edition cabinet. I would have one already if I actually had room for the thing.

Another one I'd be thrilled to have would be Mocap Boxing. I could get in regular intense workouts with one of those.

Berzerk. Preferably an upright, but I understand there's a cocktail table version and I'd be perfectly okay with that instead.
