You can ask a mod to change your username, they can do it quickly. But frequent changes are, and I quote, "frowned upon". I'm not sure how much frequent means in this context though.

I was so happy when I was told I could change my GAF name to an alt I got perm'd because it wasn't meant to exist.

I specifically asked for the i to be lowercase, but the mod in question didn't do that.
