Framerate drops in what ostensibly amounts to an upscaled PS2 port is ridiculous and unacceptable.

Anyone who has never played it should pick it up for sure. It narrowly edges out San Andreas as my favorite of Rockstar's works and was one of my overall favorite games last gen. It has a great story with likeable characters and

I was for certain going to pick up the 360 version....but now, seeing how marginally optomized (not to mention overall "meh" looking) that version has seemingly turned out, I might just go ahead and pick up the Wii version instead

I don't like waggle all that much, but supposedly that version is running at a constant 30fps and the mini games might add alot...

Seriously, considering the hardware, the is NO reason why this couldn't potentially run at 60fps ....even if they had to cut out the extraneous "shadowing system" and such

oh and HOLY SHIT at 360 IGN video review and it blatantly ripping off the 1upshow

Cant wait as I kind of neglected the PS2 version in hopes it would come to 360. I have a great TV and frame hic-ups still don't bother me as it do some. This will be a great holder until GT1V comes.

If you care about that at all why would you even concider the Wii version, it looks like an Xbox1 game at best.

...this game ain't lookin any prettier on 360, but now its got added loading/framerate issues due to oversexing the shit up

On Wii, judging from the video review and what I've read in previews, the framerate seems at a constant 30fps with some nice added effects/slightly res'd up textures...
Add the minigames and combat, and I honestly feel it's a more compelling product

and as I said, this is coming from someone who was convinced he would be picking up the 360 version for months

framerate troubles come from it being an upscaled ps2 game, any framerate issues from the original are likely to be carried over lets face it, this is rockstar
