There's too many for me to go through and say why I think they're wrong so I'll just mention the first one:


GoW above DMC3 is a fucking joke. If they played DMC3 for more than 10 minutes or learned how to play it at all then they'd have seen that it pisses all over G0W in every department. And the fact that RE4 was behind both is an even bigger insult. RE4>every adventure/action game this generation...on any format

GOW is ps2igns version of the ignxbox jade empire review. Both massively over-rated. Gaiden and DMC3 dwarf GOW.

Biggest suprise is Rev. controller...... yeah right! <------ they should add another award called "TEH Shocker Award" that would be suitable for the innovate design. :lol


Biggest surprise would be unveiling of Zelda:TP. I don't know what IGN smoking on but ahhh well. :lol

uh... the controller WAS the biggest surprise. It ended up being more than just a touchscreen on a controller. Also, TP was revealed in 2004 so the real question is, what are you smoking and does it require a perscription?

The GameCube awards were a waste of the two minutes I spent skimming them.

They just tossed out awards to whatever single game happened to show up for each genre, with no runner-ups (although that was more the Cube's fault than IGN's), they gave the Revtroller a GameCube award, and then they gave Capcom an award for making RE4 and Killer 7 exclusively for the Cube (and for making Phoenix Wright). :lol
