I know what SJW stands for, but I don't know why Harada's tweet was offensive to anyone?
could anyone explain?

Neither Tweet was professional at all, but I just lost a lot of respect for Harada. People criticize Kamiya all the time for his tweets, but at least he had the common sense to reject GamerGate from the jump.
That's pretty funny. Both the tweet and the IGN guy's "outrage".
SJWs ruin everything
IGN guy should be fired.
Threads like this are always funny. So much outrage for a term created to attack/shame people wanting equality in the world.IGN is still relevant?
Try to educate, not ridicule. Part of being the bigger person is ultimately that if possible you'll be the one to steer stuff into a productive place.
Exactly. Unfortunately the nature of the internet is to grab the pitchforks and humiliate the person so you can instantly feel like the bigger person instead of actually having to work toward it.
I'd have zero problem with Bandai Namco blacklisting IGN from Tekken 7 availability after this. No interview availability, no advance copy for review.
There's a right way and a wrong way to criticize someone for what is deemed to be a poor message. Infantile name-calling is not the right way.
That's fine. That would actually be preferable instead of what Gav did.
He made a personal attack on someone based on a poorly told joke. If anything, I'm willing to cut Harada way more slack. The producer just came off like a complete jackass.
Yea, and he apologized and took it down after a female Tekken fan told him how disappointed she was that he would use that word.Only Harda's tweet was idiotic.

Anybody providing a rallying point for Gamergators deserves to be called out.
Pretty much. Harada's comment was a little dumb but he wasn't deliberately being a massive asshole. IGN guy was very much deliberately being an asshole.
Who cares? Who cares if he thinks Tekken 7 is a garbage game? Why does that bother people? Like, its one dude in the gaming press whose probably BAD at fighting games like the vast majority of those people. I'm amazed that people can get so riled up over that.
It's so fucking insignificant of an opinion that it amazes me there was a thread for this. It's like me shitting on God Hand in an action game thread: like who cares?
No it wasn't acceptable, The IGN guy was in the wrong and really looks like an idiot for it.
It's a derogatory term used by primarily gators to refer to anyone who discusses social issues or representation on the internet.
uh what does any of this have to do with gg?

The world would be a better place if everybody watched Rush Hour.
