IGN: Ten Dreamcast Games We Want on PSN

Needs more Ikaruga.

Fucking. This. IGN fails.

1) Ikaruga
2) Jet Grind/Set Radio
3) Rez

All the above have X-box ports, this means the PS3 equals the X-box on ports/games for these.

4) Segagaga (come on, localize it and put it on PSN)
5) Shenmue 1/2
6) Chu Chu Rocket
7) Skies of Arcadia
8) Seaman (if Blu-ray/mic support is included)
9) Phantasy Star Online (with PSN game finding as the "lobby" support, therefore the game isn't pay-per-month and Sega doesn't manage servers)
10) Bangai-O
11) Typing of the Dead (hell, throw in House of the Dead as well)

Soooo many Dreamcast games I want on PS3/PSN.

hey, i remember ARMADA! i rented that on a whim, which is something i don't think i've done since the dreamcast days.

and from what i understand this is the TOY COMMANDER MEMORIAL LIST, since that's obviously the first game they'll put up.

i wish someone could capture the experience of playing the o.g. DAYTONA USA in the arcade. we used to go to a shitty mr. gatti's pizza buffet and they had linked cabinets. no arcade racer has been more fucking thrilling than that: it roared in your ear, jerked your ass all over the place, and just rocked your world thoroughly.

never been the same since.

Yeah, I dunno... It's kind of good that IGN still holds the Dreamcast flag up from time to time. Still, they fail horrible as with everything they do. Your list makes much more sense. Bangai-O Dreamcast was so much better than the new DS game...

Still for me: CHU CHU ROCKET /thread
This game does not get enough praise and I played this 99/2000 with shitty 56k (correction, eu had 28k modem...) online and it was still amazing.

English Sakura Wars 1, 2, 3, and 4 please. ^_^

Oh, and Grandia 2, can't forget Grandia 2.
Doesn't Grandia 2 already have a PS2 version? Though it was a crappy port if I remember it right.

Completely agreed about Sakura Taisen though.

Pretty sure PSO was excluded since the online servers are no more.

Oh, well it's a good thing those Chu Chu Rocket servers are still running...

Seaman would be awesome if they updated it to comment on current games saves. Unless it never did that in the first place and I'm confusing it with something else.

Shenmue 1 & 2
Though it didn't make our Top 25 Dreamcast list for valid reasons, everyone should have the opportunity to experience the first two legs of the Shenmue storyline. Especially Shenmue 2, which is actually good.

That's fucking rich.

Typing of the Dead
You can't do this game on Xbox 360, because there's no keyboard support. We figure everyone has a USB keyboard, which means everyone can get in of the hunt-and-peck action.

Well not exactly in use with a game, but my USB keyboard works with typing out messages on Xbox Live.

Yes. I want to play me on PSN. Mmmm.

The fact that Chu Chu Rocket HD/Online/Whatever hasn't happened yet is an insult.
Mutha fuckin' this. It was one of the first online DC games, and an XBLA/PSN/WiiWare version should have been the first decision made.

Blue Stinger & Dino Crisis.
Have you played Blue Stinger lately? That game has aged horribly. It's definitely one of those Dreamcast Games that falls on the N64/PS1 side of the aging curve as opposed to Crazy Taxi, Jet Grind Radio, Skies of Arcadia which fall on the PS2 side.

ChuChuRocket HD confirmed.

Although it should of happened 4 years ago. I really hope this document is true. Sega, you need it to be true.

If they could put PSO online without a ridiculous monthly fee and it has the episode II content then sign my ass up.

I agree with Shenmue and SOA, Namco really needs to have SC on PSN as well. I'd love to have Sword of Berzerk too.

I semi-agree with Rush 2049, but the arcade version > Dreamcast version. I didn't care much for the wings or the stunt mode, and the graphics were a lot better in the arcade version.

Plus, the arcade version had Alcatraz, and the Dreamcast version didn't.

Also, +1 for Hydro Thunder. :D

Blue Stinger is still hilariously good, playing it reminds me of why movies like Troll 2, and the Evil Dead series have become cult classics.

No love for Cannon Spike.. as usual :|

Most of Capcom's Dreamcast fighting game library should be on there. More people need to play Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

IGN probably just wanted to make a crappier list than Screw Attack's.

Cannon Spike should top the list, IMO.
