again, it's not about Sales Age, it's about impact, contribution and evolution
that is why Virtua Fighter is on the list.
I love Scorpion, Raiden and Sub-Zero, but the game play is so clunky and constipated and the series is one of the shallowest fighter franchises
Yeah.. and again, that's why I said that MK should have been in..even if it was at the bottom of the list..

(starting the whole ESRB thing, the fact that the latest games are still under the eyes of some senators, the movies/series, etc..)
But the thing is that they are talking about franchises that are important and that have contributed something to gaming, and that they are excited about future titles... and yet...
They recently rated the newest Sonic game under 5.0...and the previous games has just been average at best...if it wasn't for the handheld Sonic games which are still good.
Donkey Konga and Jungle Beat didn't caused or made the DK franchise what it is today (it was the classic games that did it)..
That last Chrono game was released nealry a decade ago (Chrono Cross)..
Sim?? Dungeons & Dragons?? Mega Man?? All classic games that were important back then, they still are..but thanks to the fnabase and the impact of the old games, not the prospect of upcoming titles...
They shoud have called the list...'Our Recent Top 25 Games That We Like" or "Top 25 Fan Favorite Games"....
