IGN'S Top 25 PlayStation Vita Games

Surprised at everyone complaining about the lack of Gravity Rush. I thought it was a game with some neat ideas but needed way more time in the oven.

I can understand most of the games on there, but no Danganronpa 2 is puzzling.

Also, 4, 6, and 14 are ranked way too high for my personal tastes. I'd take Ys, Gravity Daze, and SSD over those any day.

missing Txk, wipeout, soul sac, grav rush, demon gaze, and a couple others... and some stuff is wildly out of order.

Without calling out any specific games, there are a few on this list that are 'fine enough' games, but have no business being on the list given the ones missing.

i'd take p4g off the list entirely for my own personal preferences, but i understand why it should be #1.

At least super stardust got it's due. No Pinball arcade also makes me sad though.

24/25 here, only missing Child of Light.

Rayman Legends instead of Origins is a pretty silly choice. The mandatory Murphy sections in Legends are really no fun in single player, which is mostly likely how you're going to play this game on the Vita.

That list is exactly why I am dissapointed with my Vita.

It was fun early on but it really never got going like I thought it would.

If they're going to include multi-plat titles, why not include remote-play titles as well?

Not a bad list though.
A multiplat title means you just need a Vita to play it. Remote play means you NEED a PS4 and a PS4 copy of the game, and in that case the Vita's effectively as much of a platform as the Wii U Game Pad is.

It says something about the Vita's library that I can't really protest including so many multiplatform games in. And mainly stuff that's older and came to other platforms first, not just hitting Vita alongside others.

#1 had to be #1, but wtf at no Gravity Rush!? Also, would be nice if Tales of Hearts R and Ys made it, but I don't expect them to even touch those games. But no Gravity Rush!? Wow!

They've got a lot of good games on the list, but some of the placements are odd. I totally agree with #1 though.

However, it's a shame that Danganronpa 2, Soul Sacrifice Delta and Gravity Rush didn't even make the list.

Not much reason to get a Vita based on that list unless portability is a huge thing for you. I only count 5-6 non-port exclusives.

I'm not one to complain about lists, but this one is just plain bizarre. So many odd omissions.

You would think a major gaming site would do its best to bring attention to the few good exclusives the Vita does have instead of mostly listing a bunch of ports. It's almost as if whoever voted hasn't played a good proportion of the games available on the Vita and just went with games they'd already played elsewhere lol.

I'm not saying that's what happened, but you could come to that conclusion on first glance.

IGN is odd when it comes to these lists. Their top 25 PS4 titles didn't include my GOTY 2014, Alien Isolation, and their top 25 vita titles doesn't include Muramasa Rebirth, one of the most beautiful games ever made and the game I bought a vita and a vita tv for.

edit: they actually did include muramasa. my derp.

Wipeout 2048 is definitely not "the best Wipeout" by any means. It's not even 60 FPS, while the PSP ones were.

This. Pulse > 2048.

No Gravity Rush and no Soul Sacrifice means they left out about half the games I actually liked on the Vita. Glad to see they placed Guacamelee so high though.

Edit: no Ultimate Marvel either; IMO one of the best looking & performing games on the system.

Edit edit: looks like no fighting games at all on the list; DOA5 also looks & runs great.

No Motorstorm RC makes me sad. That game is amazing.

Overall I don't agree with the list as organized but own and have beaten most games on the list.

Is Delta better than the first Soul Sacrifice game? That game didn't do anything for me.

If you didnt like the first game you probably wont like the second, since its more of an expanded version. It adds new features but it has the same basic combat/system mechanics.

This list could easily be comprised of only exclusives and even then it wouldn't be enough. But keep shouting "Vita haz no gaemz" like we're in 2012, whoopie...

Kind of highlights my issue with Vita. It has a great selection of games (especially when factoring in PSX/PSP classics), but not the best group of exclusives.

I think they should include DR 1,2 together. Leaving out 2 is plain wrong. Count them as a single entry if need be but both need to be played.
