Awesome post. Does the ranking really matter? In my eyes he has never really done a bad film. One of the few directors that I will see anything they release day one, no trailer needed.
He takes crazy ideas and uses pretty large budgets to see them come to life. We need more directors and studios taking chances with their movies, and even biting off a little more than they can chew sometimes. I don't want perfect movies. I want unforgettable movies.
Not at all. I nitpick the hell out of his movies sometimes but he's a great director that makes great movies. He doesn't make "bad" movies, just movies that you happen not to like.
