Im about ready for Destiny 2, who's with me?

I'll put it this way, I'm not preordering. I'm definitely waiting for impressions, and if content is light on launch the second time around, it's a definite no go.

I put in 30 hours, lol. Holy shit, 800. I liked it just fine, load screens and year 1 dearth of content aside.

I'd be into a second one, but my bar would be that it starts with at least as much content as everything up to Taken King combined.

I'll wait for Destiny 2 complete edition in 2018.

lol yeah although i played Destiny a lot, it was also a lot of aggravation. Overall lack of content even with the expansions just makes me wanna wait until the first expansion (at the very least). I highly doubt ill play this in the first 6 months. Plus add to that how everything is always being reworked every 4-5 months...

The core was great but i dunno if i can do this again.

Hahahaha wow cant believe people actually still want to buy another game from bungie after false promises ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9YoJjdEBv8 )

and microtransactions, people got scammed so hard and got a non story game which only got a little bit better after a paid expansion.

how come people give no mans sky shit for not delivering on promises but not for destiny?

Bro destiny and no man's sky aren't even in the same hemisphere, seriously.... Destiny sure had some things fall thru but they had a solid game with loot, raids, multiplayer with plenty of match modes, things to actually do. It's not even comparable to no man's, so that is a moot comparison

Its comparable in the sense that they over-promised. I remember the videos of Staten just describing how everything you saw in the landscape, you could go there....yeah right. There was a lot of over promising and under-delivering with this game. Having a good "core" doesnt excuse that.

I don't care what's promised, I simply want a fun game with things to do.. No man's sky offered me about 3 hours a worth of fun and destiny 800, so I can't complain

But Destiny rectify all of its problems and 1) its actually good now 2) sold Millions and millions of copies 3) has had an long life span and 4) makes a heck of a lot of extra money on the side from microtransactions

They are completely different stories, one found success after a shaky start and the other did not.

On topic, after having Destiny been my most played FPS of all time, despite not being there day 1 to experience what it was at first, Bungie has solidified the IP's stay through phenomenal support, additional content and patches.

I cant fathom how big Destiny 2 is going to be. But this time, I'll be there Day 1.

I'm ready.

While I loved Destiny in terms of the conept, art, lore, narrative, etc, it was just far too linear for me, which is largely due to the fact that the code that serves as the foundation for the game was built with the 360 and PS3 in mind.

If Destiny 2 is far more open and expansive, and is on PC, I'll be there day one - and probably won't quit after a couple weeks like I did with Destiny.

Also, and I may be alone on this here, but I wouldn't mind seeing Destiny adopt a subscription model if it meant they could consistently deliver major updates every 2-3 months.

I am ready for

1. Dedicated servers - p2p and skipping red bar warriors is too much for 2017.

2. We need 60 FPS for crucible.

3. Primary gun kill time needs to be lower - the current meta is crap with shot gunners jumping towards you and you have a pea shooter primary.

Most important is servers, the lag in PVP is just not fun. Also too many people kicking you with DDOS.

I enjoyed year 1 and some of year 2 up to taken king, but the many nerfs meant the PVP just got poor.

I am, 973 hours wasted on Destiny. I've moved on, but might pop back in for a brief SRL so I can finally complete TLW quest and get my Y3 Icebreaker. This game has been great even though I bitch about it during the droughts.

Man... for the thousands of hours of entertainment I've had with my friends I sure do feel scammed (eyes rolling on the floor)

I sunk so much time into Destiny I really don't know if I want to put myself through that again haha

I'll be there day one :(

Lots of rumors that Rise of Iron was slapped together when they realized Destiny 2 wasn't going to be ready for Fall of 2016.

So, probably expect Destiny 2 Fall of next year. Maybe?

No doubt about it. They know they need to keep their user base engaged. I fully expect Destiny 2 to launch in September 2017.

Still love #1 but I only show up for random raid runs or IB/special events. I'm all in for #2 whenever it shows up.

Finally pulled myself away from Destiny, and have been enjoying a bunch of games that have been sitting on the back burner, or have recently come out. I'll still jump on for IB or the occasional raid though. I can't completely quit you, Destiny.

Destiny 2 can't come soon enough though. I'm ready.

Stopped playing Destiny around HoW but Im ready for a sequel that'll hopefully be on PC and will have cross play with the PS4.

Yes. I want to see what they can do with a fresh start. But I also may be in the minority in that I want it to be a new game instead of big expansion.
