Nah, not the go-to line. But theres no criticism happening in this thread, there is some speculation and a whole lot of pontification. Its a very complicated discussion and this device class is uncharted territory. It is completely bleeding edge. Sure, smartwatches have seen a slow introduction over the last 2 years but absolutely nothing on this scale. Its a form of computing that almost nobody has years of experience performing, and the few who do are doing so in a world that is not programmed for it yet.
It requires a lot of imagination to understand what a device of this nature can accomplish and how it can integrate into your life.
No criticism? How it looks is legit criticism, although it's subjective.
Objectively?
How about this?

We are now in year 3 of smart watch tech (longer, depending on perspective). How can, in 2015, an smartwatch launch without 3rd party support for:
Displaying custom watch faces
Rendering animations/playing video
Playing sounds
Using microphone for anything other than dictating text
Using the NFC
Accessing the heart rate monitor
Using the Taptic Engine for vibration feedback
Using the Force Touch to control interface
Support for Finger scrolling or the Digital Crown
There is simply no excuse, considering how late to market this product will be, to not have at least half of that stuff ready. How anemic is there sdk team? This is a multi-billion dollar company, and they can't have basic functionality ready 2 years late to market?
Nevermind you have to have an iphone to even use one... This to me looks like a beta test, rather then product launch.
