If someone can rationally explain how someone pulls a comparison to "a live raccoon" out of their ass, I'm going to say that it was intentional. who the fuck compares calories to live animals? when in your fucking life have you ever heard that done? for an animal that nobody in your listening audience has likely sampled for any frame of reference?

it is, at minimum, so stupid as to question the intellectual capacity of the person making the comparison.

again, when you know shit said by these anchors is typically scripted (especially that), then you have to logically ask the question, "why did they script THAT line in particular"?

If all of the people in this thread who are wondering about the bizarre live raccoon reference would watch this clip, it would clear everything up. Everyone who watches this clip would probably also agree that this whole thread is ridiculous.

In Denmark we called these "negro buns" and "negro kiss" for forever, the name is still used sometimes at smaller bakeries and places like that.

Many older black folk continue to self-identify as negro on the census. As one point negro was taken off the census, but so many blacks wrote it in that it was easier to collect the data by adding negro back in.

Like so many other examples it really comes down to whether or not you believe Fox is evil or just stupid. Either they were deliberately racist, which wouldn't be surprising, or everyone there was too dumb to notice the racial connotations, which also wouldn't surprise me.

In Germany, we have Mohrenkopf ("Moor's Head") or Negerkuss ("Negro's Kiss") for it.
Afaik, no manufacturer labels it Negerküsse anymore.
