You are replacing a doctor, charged to find who, among the three patients, is the one that is contaminated. To do this, you can use a whole range of experiments to be performed on the sick. You can also ask the guard to do the dirty work for you. You must choose just one patient to kill or ..Maybe this job is too hard for you and you will take the last option.. not to choose ...
Who Must Die - Free (PC)
And new page
Seriously, FAR looks awesome
It's like post apocalyptic Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, with a hint of Journey's atmospheric environments
Single player. Like Lovers in the sense that you need to clamber around the inside of the vehicle to control its functionsI can't check the links at work - is it MP like Lovers? Or is it predominantly SP? The multiplayer focus really turned me off lovers.
Steam Black Friday/Autumn Sale starts on Wednesday! Any games people are looking to get?

I tried Curious Expedition during one of the free weekends, didn't really impress me. The combat felt kind of half-baked, and the map exploration was pretty boring IMO. Felt more like a numbers game than capturing a sense of exploration. There's no Daily Deals/Flash this year right?
I'm on the lookout for:
Curious Expedition
Wasteland 2
And then I'll keep my eyes peeled for other bits and pieces!
What about you man?

The Pedestrian is a 2.5D puzzle platformer that takes puzzle platforming literally. You play as the male restroom symbol (aka The Pedestrian) who works at the restroom sign along with his beloved (The female symbol). When she disappears, you must escape your day job and embark on a perilous journey where you piece the sign world back together to make it through.

Celestian Tales: Old North is good

Neon Struct got a free expansion along with a level editor. Minor Key Games must be one of my favorite developers.
Also I can't wait to this year end, I'm full of tasks to do at work and I just arrive at home just too much tired to find energy to play games, and it's sad since I just started Shadowrun: Dragonfall and the setting hooked right from the start.
Nothing I feel confident to share, yet. But there will be soon.Hey, always cool to learn that devs are on GAF. Love the art style, is there any footage?
Looks great. And don't worry, devs are always welcome to share their games hereNot sure I'm allowed to post my own stuff in here, so if I'm not, I'll edit it out!
I just released the first trailer for Honey Rose: Underdog Fighter Extraordinaire, which is still kind of a ways off, but I'm hoping for a 2016 release. As for the rest, well, see for yourself:

Slain got pushed to January....
At least the GRIP alpha is coming this month, so I'll have that to enjoy instead
Looks great. And don't worry, devs are always welcome to share their games here
Those will definitely be high on my list too. So many good games this yearSweet, thanks
As far as 2015's best indies list, as you said the year isn't over, but mine will still most likely feature Ori on the top spot, and Invisible Inc as a close second! Only unknown is Undertale at this point, as I still haven't played it...
Hi folks --
We're getting close to wrapping up Act IV. It's been a long road, but we feel good about the work & we're excited to share it with you.
Here are a couple high-res versions of Act IV's banner/teaser art:
We want to thank you again for hanging in there while we quietly spent the last year or so (since "Here And There Along The Echo") working on this episode. It's important to us to embrace the uncertainties of working on a project like this, and so valuable+gratifying to have an audience who respect that. We're eager to transition from thanking you for waiting into thanking you for playing!
more soon!

Soon
Looking through Steam, the only major remaining indies this year look like RIOT and Banner Saga 2
So probably a good time to start thinking about best 2015 indies lists
Looks great. And don't worry, devs are always welcome to share their games here
Actually, yeah, it did. Just checkedI think it got delayed to next year but I am not 100% sure.
Neon Struct is on my Steam sales wishlist actually - really enjoyed the demo.
I'm the same. I leave for work at 7 am and get home at like 7.30. As soon as I've eaten it's half 8 and I'm exhausted. I played some Divinity last night with my best mate but once we'd made our characters it was half 10! It's a nightmare - I've managed maybe less than 10 hours of gaming in the past 6 weeks?
Awesome! And full controller support now, I wonder if the game will be coming to consoles eventually

Yes, the combat is fantastic. It has such a great feeling of weight and force. The most realistic moments IMO are when you're close, and you get tangled up, weapons clanging, it really feels like a desperate struggleThis fucking game has completely changed my outlook on combat in action RPGs (of the top down kind.) Hilarious and really awkward at first then becomes completely awesome. It's entirely physics driven to the point where even things in the character creator like height and weight impact the simulation (short characters have a lower center of gravity and thus more balance but taller characters have more reach with their swings, thin characters are more agile but have less force behind their hits) All the gifs in this post are from the arena mode which serves as a combat boot camp. The current main game is a permadeath dungeon crawler that is heavy on atmosphere and very light on hand holding, you're encouraged to avoid fights early on and pay close attention to your surroundings and fucking break out some graph paper to draw a map. It's early access still and shaping up to be something really special.

Play as a mechanic on a derilict space ship. Go about your tasks, until the Ship AI starts to change.
Steam Sale is live! Think I might pick up Wreckfest and Elite
I was going to get Elite, but then I read that the Horizons expansion will include the base game, so I'm waiting for thatElite is a great price - definitely get it. My mate just bought me Life is Strange because it's my birthday! But there's not much else really...
Life Is Strange is fantastic. I was hesitant to play it, didn't seem like something I'd like due to the setting, but damn, it's so good.
I was going to get Elite, but then I read that the Horizons expansion will include the base game, so I'm waiting for that
,Is that indie game with the cool animated ferret thing out yet? Beautiful 2D art, fluid animations...can't remember the name.
I guess I need to look into the pricing structure some more, as I was all set to pick up Elite in the sale. Is every expansion pack another chunk of money? For a game that's not "finished" yet I find this odd.
"Elite Dangerous: Horizons includes all Elite Dangerous content to date, and all players will continue to fly together in the same galaxy. Existing Elite Dangerous players receive a £10 loyalty discount off the price of Elite Dangerous: Horizons, retaining their progress and unlocking the exclusive ‘Cobra Mk IV’ in-game spacecraft."
The Pedestrian - PC, Mac
Torn on Kentucky Route Zero. Looks gorgeous, but what does the gameplay entail? Seems pretty focused on dialogue. Is there any exploration, or puzzles?
Just checked out Limits and Demonstrations. I had thought the game was 2D. So all the environments in KR0 are 3D like that?So think of Kentucky Route Zero as a play. It's easier to wrap your mind around it if you think of it more as a play rather than a Point n Click game.
The play entails you following characters around during one night in Kentucky, and it is built around exploring this world (filled with secrets in each act), and building the dialogue of the play and the character development around what YOU want it to be.
None of the choices are big, and intentionally the game seems to subvert the Telltale/Life Is Strange "EVERY CHOICE EVER MATTERS", where just about no choice matters, but it builds the back story of the events just for you.
It's a hard sell, but luckily there are 3 free acts available here:
http://kentuckyroutezero.com/limits-and-demonstrations/
http://kentuckyroutezero.com/the-entertainment/
http://kentuckyroutezero.com/here-and-there-along-the-echo/
These can act as demos, with Limits and Demonstrations literally being one, The Entertainment being a literal actual play that, and Here and There Along The Echo tying in somehow in the upcoming Act IV (email went out yesterday saying it is nearing completion).captures a scene literally 30 minutes before it happens in the game
Its not finished, and it won't be for probably a year and a half, but it's a 3 person team (one programmer/designer, one writer/artist, and one musican/sound designer), and a whole lot of love shines through every pore of this game.
Just checked out Limits and Demonstrations. I had thought the game was 2D. So all the environments in KR0 are 3D like that?
Also, one more question: are the environments relatively linear or are they more open to explore?
Is that indie game with the cool animated ferret thing out yet? Beautiful 2D art, fluid animations...can't remember the name.
Hey, Toma, have you kept up with Software Inc? I'm trying to decide between that and Crosscode
Yeah, I know. Not actually similar
I did check out the Software Inc demo, and it was fun, but it seems kind of one-note
Btw, I started a thread for Software Inc
