unfortunatly I probably won't be getting a ps4 in time in order to participate, on account of them still being sold out everywhere, but my god some of these screenshots..

Saw it in Kotaku, it was his personal favorite as well as mine, amazing work!
Sometimes you can. You have to keep hitting L3 a lot, usually right before you start it then just hope it works! It's kind of random.
I changed mine, I love this one more.
I found it works 100% of the time if you have Delsin in a position where the camera collides with an object e.g. a billboard (in the district liberation missions)

They're just rotated. It's not like the image itself is altered in any way. We could post them in their original, horizontal format but then everyone would have to tilt their head to properly see them, lol.

I have to keep coming in this thread to say "man this game!" Free advertisement for such a good feature in such a pretty game.
Some other games had the screen shot rotate feature like Motorstorm Pacific Rift.

All the vertical ones are just rotated single shots. No 3rd party software is being used. Save them to your desktop and check their dimensions
All you have to do is rotate one time, in a picture viewer.
I don't really see how it's unfair.

I genuinely hope some marketers are twirling their mustaches at this. Didn't it only take them about a week to implement it, too? If this becomes standard that'd be amazing.
I assume there was already a working form of it to get the shots for press...they probably just cleaned it up for a public release
Hope so.
Not only has it added another layer to the game both as another activity to get more play out of the game and see more of it but it really makes one appreciate the world they've created and the amount of detail that's in there. With the amount of attention this has received and sooo many incredible player shots being taken it's basically free advertising for them too.
I've always liked taking screenshots in my games (some more than others of course) but photo mode has made that much more enjoyable and it has been great to see what other peeps have managed to capture with it as well as sharing my own. It's win win really and I do hope others take on to the idea. R* and GTA V comes to mind. I spent a crazy amount of time taking pictures with the phone in that game, I would love them to add a photo mode similar to this when the inevitable next-gen version releases. Fingers crossed heh.

I'm not great at taking pictures, but this is definitely my favorite that I've taken, as it actually looks a little professional, like a comic promo or something. My other shots... not so much. Half the time I forget to hide the Photo Mode HUD and don't even realize it until I'm looking at the pictures later. I'm getting better though, at least I think...
