If they're doing 2 DLC Packs again like with MKX, which im expecting, there should be enough "slots" for all of 'em
As long as Scorpion doesn't return, i'll be happy.

I think Boon confirmed that the game will have more DLC. Think he talked about 10 characters or 3 packs. Most will be DC characters but I would not be surprised to see Sub-Zero in the first wave, Spawn in the second and a runner up in the third.

Captain Cold is pretty much guaranteed, so Sub Zero is somewhat redundant.
Similar to Raiden and Shazam/Black Adam with the lightning powers.
It's pretty much given there will be an MK character, unfortunately, so it should at least be fairly unique.

Pretty much my opinion as well, i'm alright with guest characters but with Mortal Kombat characters it's a different thing, mostly because Scorpion was so annoying in Injustice 1 and because, just like you said, they have their own game. Focus on Comic Characters and Heroes/Villains.
