Injustice 2 Harley Quinn & Deadshot Trailer

They both look great, but Deathstroke better be back. I'd hate for an iconic villain to be dropped at the expense of a flavor of the month tie-in character.

I probably shouldn't worry too much, since Superman/Supergirl/Zod, Batman/Batgirl, Joker/Harley, Shazam/Black Adam, and Green Lantern/Sinestro are proof that multiple characters with the same power set/abilities can coexist in Injustice. Two marksmen in a roster of ~30 characters isn't exactly overkill.

3 if Red Hood is in.

The other character faces look like shit, but Harley actually doesnt look that bad.
Probably the best female face Netheream has ever done.

The costumes though... but I like how they gave ther the hyenas from TAS.

EDIT.
Oh, it sees they have changed Wonder womans face! Looks better, although I need to see from another angle.

Still can't get over how ugly NRS stiff animations look, I know they're what makes Mortal Kombat exactly that, but it would be nice to see a different approach with Injustice. Not happening with this one though.

Skimpy?

She just showing her belly, it's the least skimpy out of all the games

The other costumes itself are costumes you can make, they obviously appealed towards the SS look but they ain't in the game you have to make them

Curious, where did you get that image? Can't seem to find I2's character wallpapers like that.

Deadshot looks terrible. I wonder if they were forced to put him in IJ2 back in 2014 then figured "fuck it" so quickly made copied him over to Erron Black (one of the last revealed characters in MKX) by 2015.

Harley's voice grates my ears after hearing Margot Robbie's take. Or maybe its all the Timmy Turner stuck in there.

I compared the two, and Deadshot and Erron Black don't actually share anything. They have a few conceptually similar attacks (like the slide), but the animations are still different.

At this point Deadshot is more popular than Deathstroke ever was, at a time when people already think Deathstroke is a Deadpool ripoff. So don't hold your breath.

Deadshot may of started off as just a D-list Batman villain, but he's been the face of the Suicide Squad since Ostrander first turned it into a villains comic. Whether it's in comics, television, cartoons, movies, he is the one consistent member that will always appear, and usually have the biggest role in the story. I think that makes him a pretty big deal.

I hope this means Waller and the squad will play a role in the story mode.

Waller should be a character. She could be like the Pokemon trainer in Smash and summon a different squad member to do the fighting.

Harley actually looks decent, though I suppose Deadshot being in the game rules out Deathstroke. I guess going with Deadshot makes sense given the Suicide Squad movie (which would also explain the redesign for Harley Quinn).

They both look great. They made Harley more interesting and she looks great. Deadshot looks cool too.

Also it seems like the visuals got a upgrade.

Wonder Woman has a new face now.

For comparison her old face from the same angle:

NRS is upping their game, good.

So I now expect Joker to look a little like Leto then.
On the bright side, if Joker actually shows up, he'll likely actually be voiced by Mark Hamill (or Troy Baker, who sounds close to Mark Hamill) in this game. Though it'll probably be Hamill since he's getting a second-wind as Joker, plus Troy Baker is already Deadshot (which makes sense given that he was Erron Black).

No, same face, just different lighting and different expression.

So there's no way Deathstroke is coming back and that's fine with Deadshot. He looks awesome. I hope we get Arkham Origins alt costume. That one was really cool.

No way Green Lantern sits this out, right?

He's the only character I really want to see, but not being in the JL movie, who knows.

Richard Epcar will probably voice Joker. All of the returning characters announced so far are using their actors from the first game.

What brings you to this conclusion?
Injustice 1 was before DC found Troy Baker as a Plan-B Mark Hamill, though Hamill himself has returned to voicing Joker recently.

Granted, they may use Richard Epcar again for consistency, but that's also assuming that Joker returns.

Hmm?

Troy Baker was hired to potray a considerably younger version of The Joker in Arkham Origins, a completely seperate franchise made by a completely seperate developer (Warner Brothers Montreal).

Are you referring to the myth that Mark Hamill gave up the role of The Joker following Arkham City? Because Hamill himself has debunked that rumor himself numerous times (on account of being slightly misquoted in an earlier interview when he was out promoting Arkham City).

Hamill never retired from the role, NetherRealm simply chose to go with Richard Epcar because the studio had already established a working relationship with the actor, having previously hired him to play the character in NetherRealms own DC Vs Mortal Kombat years before. As such, if The Joker DOES return for the sequel, I'd expect much the same here, with Epcar continuing the role.

Just in time to capitalize on all that Suicide Squad good will they've generated

Was just about to say "its brilliant that they are pairing this directly after the succesful suicide squad--oh....well it would have been brilliant. hmph"

...Still is.

Man this game is day 1. The graphics look incredible and I love the update they gave to Harley. Hopefully more characters follow suit!
