Injustice 2 Harley Quinn & Deadshot Trailer

So it looks like they actually did edit Wonder Woman's face.

Was able to find a good moment for comparison

I think they mostly the improved the lightning here. All the self shadowing on the face adds a lot

LOL. Harley is the face of Suicide Squad. Go look at the latest issues of it and you will see her face zoomed in on the first and her front and center on the second. it's been like this since 2011. Nobody gives a damn about Deadshot.
Deadshot had been one of the most consistent faces of the series, second only to Amanda Waller. Harley only started showing up after the New 52, she is popular and even got her own series--so it makes sense that she's front and center. But when I think of Suicide Squad, I think of Floyd Lawton.

I guess a bit of a nitpick, but what really annoys is how when you defeat the opponent the character still gets up for a second only to fall over again. It seems like a leftover from Mortal Kombat where you'd usually have the fatality, but since there are no fatalities the character sits back down again.

It's for sure something they need to fix; I could look past it in 2011 but there's no excuse for it now.

The transition is a bit weird, but is still done better than MK. At least in Injustice the charactes either falls to their knees, or do some random animation other than just fall to the ground.

Harley was my main in the first game. Really don't like how she looks here.

And they seem to be reusing a lot of the same moves and animations.

IMO, this is what they should have been doing all along. Characters should always play similarly to how they have in the past with some changes and additions. That's one of the reasons MK has been taking so long to catch on the the FGC, there's no consistency.

This pleases me because now there's transferable knowledge. I'm hoping back is still block as well. Now if only they'd implement both of these things into the MK series.

With Black Manta being confirmed as being the villain in the upcoming Aquaman movie, it would make sense to be playable and not just a stage transition character.

He also seems like a candidate for a lot of suit customization.

He's so requested that I'm sure they'll put him in eventually, if not in the final game, at least as DLC.

The first game had music?

Yeah, they could honestly just save a ton of money on the budget and leave it out. It's just that unremarkable and unimportant as long as they continue to do what they do with the music. It's the most anti-hype fighting game music out there.

What? How does that work?

And block button is a staple of MK, it's never going away.

Looks like they're making her look a bit like Margot Robbie. The eyes, eyebrows and facial structure are quite similar.

I hope the classic jester outfit is in.

Also Wonder Woman has been improved a lot.

Same thing in MKX, to be honest. The default music setting is so low, it often feels like there is no in-fight music.

I was speaking to how NRS does music in their fighting games in general. When I played MK9 I would almost always play with the classic music turned on, because it was loud and energetic enough to actually matter and compliment what was going on ingame.

The lightning does make a difference, but there are obvious changes to her face: Her nose is thinner, her mouth is smaller, her jaw is thinner, her chin is more rounded, laugh lines are reduced, her eyes are slightly bigger and further apart, her cheekbones are more prominent, her head is thicker around the eye region, and there's a change along the brow ridge as well. It's a lot of small differences, but when put together, they make a big difference.

Never tried that, but wish that I had.
