Well, judging by the amount of geometry being thrown around I would say final dev kits with RSX have probably arrived...the large amount of characters (geometry instancing?) as well as the absurd detail on those models is really something else...

And for all "tEH BAd ArT" folks out there, this just goes to prove how flexible Unreal Engine 3.0 is.....notice that both Lost Odysee and now this RPG are both running on UE3....not all UE3 games have the GOW/Unreal Tourney look and Angel Rings just proves next gen will be about great artists and designers...

Judging by the size of the screens (1280 x 720) these are probably frame buffer screens so its hard to say if the AA seen in these screens are going to be in-game or not......it remains to be seen though :/


I might be crucified for this but I would say Angel Rings looks, in many ways, just as good as MGS4:Guns of the Prruuwuu in many ways...

I hope they show this at CES :D

It's not that technically impressive, it's just the art direction and advanced camera movement that makes it impressive. Not any more "next gen" than DOA4, for example.
 
well my sister's aunt who is a microsoft product beta tester's teammate/sexslave in switzerlandistan told me that all 3 clips run on pentium 2's with 64 ram!!!?! Android also continued and said once they'll have the mega-ether kits from sony(that have secret factor x chips), they can from voltron and so most probably the game will look like better than those people in colgate commercials!!!! the question at everybody's mind is that if lale liloo can do "real-time" ray phrasing and goraud shaving at 120 fps this means 360 suxxorezzzz in the land of japan but canada rocks???

Funny, the look is akin to DOA4 (character design-wise), but none of you numbnuts are bitching about them. Sony-bias, indeed...
 
When I saw the screens, I looked away because direct eye contact causes a weird how come from my speakers. I sounds like someone crying, I think it was Ken Kutagari crying
 
Jeezus, going by those screens I'd be surprised if they won't have to censor the hell out of the U.S. version to manage an M rating.

I had to go into my ad blocker and unblock the images manually, but I finally got them to show. The one pic where that guy is standing by that huge thing is what has me interested in this game's potential. Don't even need a write-up. If you took the Source engine, put it in drag, added in a twist of cel-shading with two lumps of bump-mapping, and added in boner-popping platform elements akin to the Mario RPG series, you'd have this.

Mindfuck, indeed. 360 port please.
 
I have an uncle who's a member of the Illuminati and used to manage a Babbage's on the weekends who knows one of the guys who worked on the CG trailer for this. Its definitely not real-time, sorry.

If you look at the second pic and cross your eyes, you can see the form of a smoothly shaved groin. I think its a secret to one of the games sidequests

wow, target renders much? it's getting a bit out of hand, developers will pass anything off as "real-time" these days. if the final game looks like that, I'll eat my hat.
 
man i KNOW i'm not the only 1 who sees jaggies. especially around the barrels that were already mentioned.

u guys are overrating this shit crazy.
