Really? Because i can't remember the last original IP they released that was actually good. Aside from Alan Wake which was 3 years ago.
And i am talking about disc based titles, not XBLA. Matter a fact this whole generation i can only think of like 3 new IPS they introduced. And one of them was and still is mediocre.

XBLA games don't count? I mean I don't really care what your reasoning behind this is, but that sounds dumb. They're just as much games as anything else.

This rumour is about their planned perpetuation of their practice of paid multiplayer. Just because we lack official confirmation doesn't mean we can't talk negatively towards the prospect.

Not Halo 95 or Gears 15. Aside from Gears and Alan Wake what did they do? Excluding the XBLA stuff what new AAA IP they do? I'm not trying to start a flame war i honestly want to know where the support was. Sony was knocking out new IPs left and right all generation and has 2 more coming out at the end of the life cycle while xbox is still pumping out boring sequels. I don't buy these consoles to play 15 sequels, i want console exclusive stuff. I have a PC if i want to play XBLA and third party titles.
I am talking about AAA console only exclusives. Not a XBLA game i can get on PC.
If you want to count them that's fine but i have a PC for that and third party titles. I buy consoles for games i can't play elsewhere, is that hard to understand? I don't want another Gears or Halo or Forza or Gran Turismo or Killzone. I want NEW stuff. Those games are fine but there is a point where it just ends but being a mediocre snooze fest.
If the 360 is the only gaming device you have in your house yeah.. It's great. If you have multiple gaming devices it really offers nothing unless you are a huge halo or gears fan which i am not. I think i turned on my 360 twice in the past 2 years. I just want to know where the new stuff is. I don't care about timed DLC.

Seems pretty close to me. I know there's some missing from both lists but I tried to stick to decent titles.

I would prefer them trying new IPs throughout the generation though, trotting out the same IP's get boring after a while especially if you weren't fond of them from the beginning.

Dance Central? Kinect Sports? Really? I will give your Crackdown and Cameo. They were decent.

I just want something other then Gears and Halo. XBLA, again.. I can play them on PC. I buy consoles for the console exclusives.

The amount of unreasonableness/shortsightedness far exceeds the threads about the other consoles.
And I always get a hoot of out of the whole "Xbox has no games" argument since it usually ends with the person who originally states it making a VERY specific category of games to try and win the debate.
Crow will be eaten. That's for sure. Always is the case during the time in which new consoles are about to be released.

The rest of the world not on message boards seems to have little problem with buying subscriptions because that's the norm. Threats and tantrums online because of charging for what we believe should be free isn't going to change much and basically paints you into a corner.

I appreciate not liking this trend, but millions of others have voted with their wallets that it's okay to do this. Sony can elect to not charge for online with PS4, but leaving all of that potential revenue on the table would be another point of contention between Sony and its investors.
