Why do you always pull this when some one calls you out for cheer leading MS. It's quite obvious you're a big fan of theirs and are pained by any criticism of them. Just embrace it no one buys that you don't care.
Because I can.

Imagine you don't have to pay to play online at all on the competitors console.

Will online play remain free? We totally believe that we want to provide more functionality and more services and more content on the network. And so we are looking at how we are going to structure that. And we are not ready to talk about that.

MS has done some shitty stuff this gen but let's stop pretending that it's the only one that did things that have "no excuse".
Really? Because i can't remember the last original IP they released that was actually good. Aside from Alan Wake which was 3 years ago.No need to imagine, they're in the process of that right now.

And i am talking about disc based titles, not XBLA. Matter a fact this whole generation i can only think of like 3 new IPS they introduced. And one of them was and still is mediocre.

Gotta love how anyone who doesn't join the chorus of negativity, and would rather wait for official confirmation of information, must automatically be Microsoft fanboys.
But people proclaiming that Dualshock 4 is their favorite controller are what? Time travelers?
I expected new ips through out its life.you expect new ip at the end of a console cycle ?
I am talking about AAA console only exclusives. Not a XBLA game i can get on PC.http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=511206
XBLA games don't count? I mean I don't really care what your reasoning behind this is, but that sounds dumb. They're just as much games as anything else.
If the 360 is the only gaming device you have in your house yeah.. It's great. If you have multiple gaming devices it really offers nothing unless you are a huge halo or gears fan which i am not. I think i turned on my 360 twice in the past 2 years. I just want to know where the new stuff is. I don't care about timed DLC.Yeah 360 had nothing good to play*
*XBLA, Digital, Multiplats and Existing IP from previous generation do not count.

If you want to count them that's fine but i have a PC for that and third party titles. I buy consoles for games i can't play elsewhere, is that hard to understand? I don't want another Gears or Halo or Forza or Gran Turismo or Killzone. I want NEW stuff. Those games are fine but there is a point where it just ends but being a mediocre snooze fest.

New IP does not imply guaranteed fun game.I expected new ips through out its life.
Not Halo 95 or Gears 15. Aside from Gears and Alan Wake what did they do? Excluding the XBLA stuff what new AAA IP they do? I'm not trying to start a flame war i honestly want to know where the support was. Sony was knocking out new IPs left and right all generation and has 2 more coming out at the end of the life cycle while xbox is still pumping out boring sequels. I don't buy these consoles to play 15 sequels, i want console exclusive stuff. I have a PC if i want to play XBLA and third party titles.

Imagine if people tweeted things in a vague nature to stir a conversation up in hardcore circles. Imagine that.
I would prefer them trying new IPs throughout the generation though, trotting out the same IP's get boring after a while especially if you weren't fond of them from the beginning.New IP does not imply guaranteed fun game.
*looks at Sony's online passStill the only system with online tax. Imagine that.
Dance Central? Kinect Sports? Really? I will give your Crackdown and Cameo. They were decent.Kidding right? The whole Gen, only 3?
Crackdown?
Viva Pinata?
Kameo?
Alan Wake (you mentioned)
Gears?
Dance Central?
Kinect Sports?
Sony introduced Uncharted, Resistance, Motorstorm, Heavy Rain, Warhawk, Infamous and?
Seems pretty close to me. I know there's some missing from both lists but I tried to stick to decent titles.
That link does nothing but make me think it's going to be 4 Kinect games i am going to give absolutely 0 shits about.Well, like I said I don't care about why you think XBLA games don't count as games, but you didn't address the link I provided. 4 new IP's in development.
Journey must not count either.

Also you are forgetting Last of Us and Beyond Two Souls.

ok so now it's only games you like that count.
boy, this is getting tough.

I just want something other then Gears and Halo. XBLA, again.. I can play them on PC. I buy consoles for the console exclusives.
I don't care what you give a shit about. I'm just pointing out you were completely wrong about Microsoft not making new IP's. The thread shows they're making 4 new games, your argument is invalid.
Imagine if you didn't have to pay for online features.
This happens all too often. So many centralize their own views and disregard what others may be interested in.

I'm suddenly reminded why I tend to avoid any threads about the Xbox/MS.

Of course it's not a definite, but if Sony does decide to charge for online multiplayer with PS4, what then?
The rest of the world not on message boards seems to have little problem with buying subscriptions because that's the norm. Threats and tantrums online because of charging for what we believe should be free isn't going to change much and basically paints you into a corner.
"I'm not buying the new Xbox because I refuse to pay for online play. It's stupid."
"Ummm... Sony just revealed its own subscription plan. Cheaper than MS, but online play is no longer free."
"I'm not buying the new Xbox or the PS4 because I refuse to pay for online play. It's stupid."
I appreciate not liking this trend, but millions of others have voted with their wallets that it's okay to do this. Sony can elect to not charge for online with PS4, but leaving all of that potential revenue on the table would be another point of contention between Sony and its investors.

And I find it equally disgusting in those threads.Clearly you don't read Vita or Wii U threads.
Imagine if drive-by trolling was exclusive to Microsoft.
Oh wait.
Cameo.
