I'll have to use it before passing much judgement but immediately I like the controller and hate the color choice they went with. I like that its 2 tone though, will make for some more fun schemes than what the DS4 has hopefully.
I really just hope i can turn the damn light off and the battery is better than the DS4.

Honestly the lack of colours on the logo and buttons make the official controller looks kinda generic and third party.This picture just pops so much nicer
Also I was hoping they would go with this grey colour scheme for the controller and console. It's a timeless and simple scheme.

the wifi one? i prefer lesser input lag with the wired one and i can use it on pc without problems but the pad is not really perfect, the triggers are meh.

Calling it now, the next backtracking Sony fans will do (after the TF numbers, the controller e.t.c) will be with the cross gen first party games. It will be another glorious sight.

When i saw it yesterday for the first time i wasn't sure what to make of it. However, it grew on me a lot and it looks pretty damn good imo.

Looks neat, but one of those things that you just can't comment on (design aside) until you've got one in your hands. I'm excited to try the haptic feedback stuff though, that could be cool if done right.

I gotta say I like it. It reminds of a good fan mock-up, which is interesting itself, as that stuff never pans out to be the actual thing. However, this time we are treading on untrodden ground with a sexy little number in my opinion. That being said, I do prefer it with the colours. I see what Sony were going for, with a clean, sleek look, but it does need a bit of spicing up.

It's kinda hard for me to imagine what these haptics feel like and how they'll differ from current rumble. Really wanna try one of these out. And the resistance in the triggers sounds strange as well. Would I actually want the trigger to be harder to pull while playing a game with a bow? It could be an action you do 2,000 times.

I saw the IGN guys equate the trigger tension to the Xbox trigger rumble. Does it work the same?

X1 is small rumble motor behind l2 and r2. Dualsense is resistive triggers

I presume they went with the most eye catching color for the reveal. There will be multiple colors available at launch. I remember I bought a blue ps4 dualshock day 1.
