Arrived in work at 8.20. Director called to our office at 8.30 telling everyone go home again. Brilliant. Well worth the 40 minute drive to get there. Fucking morons. I'm at home now again at least.

All LUAS services cancelled from 12pm onwards. Christ this should've been announced yesterday. Workers in Dublin without their own cars have no way of getting home now.

Announcing Dublin bus would be stopping at 10 at 9am after everybody got to work was stupid as fuck.

Purposefully got up early today to make extra time to check for updates too.

Down in Waterford so it's probably going to be bad here. Due to be in work later but they just put up on Twitter that they're closed for the day, so that's something. Most of my family is in one of the towns without power but they texted that they're okay.

Nothing to do but wait it out I guess.

Gonna download Axiom verge for Switch and the latest Star Trek on the ipad and charge everything I can.

Best of luck lads

Nnnnnnnnooooooooo

The power seems to be reduced in Naas, the oven is not working, lights are taking ages to turn on but the TV is working.

It's an odd situation.

Similar thing happened to me. Work started at 8:30. At 8:36, we get an email saying the decision had been made to close the office for the day. Luckily for me, my commute is a bit of a joke timewise.

I was let go just because the buses where stopping at 10am. The rest of my team who showed up where staying until 12 to get the essentials done because NOTHING STOPS BANKING!1!

Trying to get in touch to see what time they actually got out since the Luas was stopped earlier then expected.

Hey Dublin GAF, friend of mine looking for therapist recommendations in Dublin.

I asked if it was regular or specialist, said regular. Thanks in advance if anyone replies.

If that Disneylife had Jim Henson Dinosaur and Home Improvement box sets I would subscribe for a few months.

The Disney Channel used to have both years ago.

Fecking train drivers. They are going to cause mayhem for me.

Instead of a peaceful hour train trip, I get an hour drive down the N7 which should take 20 minutes, 40 minutes on the Luas red line and than a 30 minute walk. Then the same on the way home.

It annoy me even more the first strike day is the day before my holiday and the second day of strike is the day I am back to work.

Jeez.

The buses are already jam packed and won’t let anyone else on a lot of the time when I go to work. Train strike is going to make it even worse.

Brian is hitting my part of Dublin way worse than Ophelia did. Of course I had to go out today and not just on buses. Had to do a 30-40 minute walk to pick up something from Parcel Motel and then make my way to a bus that wasn't close by. I don't even want to sit down on the bus for fear of the cold dampness that will pervade my arse.

Looks like this got wiped from my Subscriptions during the freeze.

I'll leave it up to the rest of you how we want to... handle the ongoing situation, shall we say.
