Is Cyberpunk now worth $25?

I started to play on launch on PC (RTX 3070) but stopped it immediately. I now play it on PS5 and really really like it.
The game should not have been released on the old gen. It should have been a holiday 2021 next gen only title.
It's a shame i have to stop it because of Horizon, but i definitely am going to finish it afterwards.
It's worth 25$.

It's worth it at full price imo. But try the trial and make up your own mind, 5 hours will take you quite a bit and you can keep playing on the same save if you wish to buy it.

That said, personally I didn't like the aiming with a controller on XSX so I went back for another playthrough on PC instead. Try before you buy is my advice. All games should have 5 hour trials.

I bought it for $25 a while ago and it was totally worth it. I am sure all of the improvements just add to the experience. Granted I played it on PC

Honestly u either love the game or u hate it.

I tried to get into it for multiple times now, but the whole setting and edge lord vibe just aren't for me.

Its pretty good and I bought it on PS5 after playing the trial for 2 hours or so.

There is still some stuff I don't like, such as glitches and the game sometimes crashes. I also don't really feel the combat gameplay and stealth, but otherwise its fun breaking in and looting stuff and selling it all off or dismantling it. I like to drive or walk around the city, starting some jobs.

I mean I don't want to spend five hours on something that might not tell me enough in five hours.

So is five hours sufficient to give me a good read on it?
This doesn't make sense. Download the trial, play for 5 hours and then make your mind up. Only you know what is worth your time and money.

Further to this, 5 hours is plenty of time to find out whether or not you like a game. I'm an hour I saw the character creator, driving mechanics, combat mechanics and some hacking. That leaves me with 4 hours of extra game time, more than enough.

I'll certainly be grabbing this once I find a good deal on it. New update seems great to me.

Lots of deep RPGs don't really get started for ten hours or more. It's a fair question.

Do the trial. I'm blown away by the main game side of it apart from the controller settings, going to have a further play with it today.

I think it's we'll worth the money for what I've played so far, about 12 hours.

It worth it. Game is amazing, the only negative is that controller aiming sucks (after playing Halo Infinite) and I wish there was keyboard and mouse support. Maybe in time I will get used to the controls.

On sale on PSN. I know it's even cheaper physically, but I don't care for disc at all.

I know there's a trial - is five hours long enough to see if I like it?

I've played a couple of hours, got it on sale for 25 euro and waited until the upgrade was available. It's definitely worth it, it has very nice production values and it's entertaining so far. I still wish it was third person though. :p

Can't comment on the console version, but as far as the game goes I played it on release and it still holds up as one of my favourite games ever. Absolutely recommend and could never understand all the flak it got for its design.

I don't know, depends on the store I guess? But in all seriousness, definitely.
I pre-ordered it on Steam and even back then I felt it was worth it. Fast PC so didn't have many issues at all, game is great.

On ps5 in current shape, I think it's worth much more. It's amazing game for me personally at least.

It got flak because it wouldn't run on 2013 Jaguar CPU hardware. The game was always great on PC, and to a lesser extent the Series X in BC mode. Now that the next gen version is out and both the PS5 and XSX native versions are comparable to the PC original, there are some having a hard time admitting it's actually a really good game and not a meme.

I'd say so. I played the patched last-gen version on my Series X this time last year. It was pretty enjoyable but I have no idea what the hype was all about.

As long as you understand that it opens up a LOT at the end of the first act. You can hit that point in 5 hours but you probably won't.

Cyberpunk is a straight up great game, it's absolutely worth $25 or even full price. Don't listen to haters who played a broken version for 2 hours and can't move past it.

I've got my controls where I want them and this game has its hooks in me so much. I actually love it. Like blown away and I'm only doing side content in the first act at the minute.

*Highly* recommend finishing Act 1 first and *then* doing all that side content but yea, the game is incredible 👍.

Imo opinion no. The game may have gotten a next gen upgrade but the game has too lot of flaws (that arnt bugs) that make it a depressing open world game. The world just feels like a shell. As much as I rip on rocks tar for their focus on online... They do make a world feel properly lived in.

I'm sure people will disagree though.

It is my first time playing it and got it for £19.99. Happy with it. Feel i got a great price for something i am finding hard to put down.

Are you kidding? It's well worth full price. Play the trial and see for yourself, it's easily one of the best games I've played in 10+ years. I played it on PC at release and experienced like 2 bugs in total. The setting, the story and the missions are mind-blowingly great. Love the music as well, the game just clicked with me.

Also, it kind of scratched a Deus Ex itch for me. Like.. well, a little bit!
I was going to download this earlier in the week when the patch dropped.

Reading this comment just made me go and download it.

All I can say is, if you got next gen consoles, game runs as it should of. I think its worth it but I still swapped anotehr game for it. Just had that bitter taste from the start and didnt feel like piling up more games.

It's worth full price imo if you play on well built PC, PS5 or XSX. Series S also if you can stomach 30 fps.

Unpopular opinion, but Cyberpunk is one of the best games that I've ever played in my life. CDPR took heat for the myriad technical issues that accompanied the game at release (and deservedly so, game was a buggy mess at the outset), but honestly, after a bunch of patches and with this update, take the plunge man. Game is a technical marvel in the aggregate with a fully realized futuristic dystopia that's more immersive than any virtual world out there with perhaps the exception of GTA V (and even that's debatable). The immersion, story, combat, production value, mission variety, ability progression etc are all SUPER high end imo, and the game does a few things better than any game that I've ever played.

If CDPR had simply released this iteration of the game at launch, I'd be calling this a GotG contender.

This 1000000%, I held out till the next gen patch and was able to pick it up for like $12 with a steelbook and sat on it for a year. I just started playing a few days ago, I'm about 6-8 hours in and I can honestly say it's one of the best RPGs I've ever played. The level of detail on everything is amazing, the story and dialog (and acting) is amazing, setting and atmosphere is perfect, it's a technical marvel. Another awesome perk that people are overlooking is the females in the game are actually hot a.f. feels like the game was made for 90s kids that aren't perpetually offended at everything. People need to stop drinking the hatorade and experience this beauty for themselves.

Tell me why bb

Look past the memes and salty people stuck with 2013 hardware. The game is brilliant and a technical marvel.

Honestly this version of the game is so good, I almost feel like the hate was overdone because of the politics and CDPR not bending the knee. Makes me love it even more TBH. Like I said before this game was made for 90s kids, if you're perpetually offended by
Haha!

It's all good my friend; just having some fun with you.. When I get a PS5 I'll play my PS4 copy in 60fps. Quite curious! Glad you liked it <3
Cheers man! Hoping you get your hands on one soon, you got a lot of catching up to do! :messenger_rocket:
