Was watching the gameplay/walkthrough and it does use a body type 3 as trans character from the look of it. An entire page full of prostetics is ridiculous too.
Why are we fooling ourselves? Of course Fable will be just like that. Look how long it took them to take that ugly troll out of the game and present a character creator? I still have a little bit of hope but with game full of people "who doesn't care" I wouldn't stick with it.

Not my image and I dont bother with the character creator in Forza.......but I actually just might this time, cuz this doesnt look as bad as people had me think the character creator looks.
Also if you are playing the racing game as a racing game, then you actually shouldnt be stopping to take selfies with your avatar........enjoy the racing.
Making a huff and puff about pronouns, that you dont care about or "ugly" characters you dont care about seems counterproductive to your own enjoyment of the game.

You guys are proving my point. I appreciate it. I have said the series is getting worse with each sequel, and you then post pictures proving my point. I hate the fantasy DLC and showcase events. The character creator is awful and you can take dang selfies now. And you can waste time updating and showing off your garage. More things that do not matter and have nothing to do with racing cars. I am a car guy and I just want to race cool cars in a cool setting. I am sure there is racing in there somewhere, after you are done cleaning your garage and assigning pronouns to your bland character. Who is this for? Streamers or influencers? Are you playing as an influencer?
I am still playing the first Forza Horizon currently and I like how it sticks to the basics without all these time wasting activities. Games these days are more interested in keeping you engaged than entertained. That is why every dang game has collectibles, crafting, base building, character creators, hats, outfits, etc. In the first game they drop you into a car and you stay there for the whole game. In these new games you are cleaning your damn garage. I have my own garage to clean, I do not want to clean a garage in a fucking game.
But I am clearly a minority here. Half of you purchased the Premium Edition for a whopping $120 so you could play it early (a shitty tactic that you all seem too happy to pay for). Even a lot of the people complaining about the "woke slop" are playing it on Game Pass or purchased it anyways. The message being sent to the developers is "keep up the great work".

You don't have to customize your character outside of the initial creation process. You don't have to customize your garage if you don't want to. If you want to just race then you can do so.
I have not touched any of the stuff you are complaining about. I certainly don't give a damn about customizing my avatar or garage. Luckily the game has tons of cool cars, tons of cool racing events, and a really great setting.

So we went from goofy looking weirdos from all over the world to photo realistic Indians?
1, an east asian and 11, a south asian have now become identical. 3, the black guy with locks is now a Sri Lankan with locks. 4,5,6,10 are now basically the same guy with different hairstyles and slightly different skin tones. Same with 2, 9 and 12. Most of the difference in 12 are from made-up over-exposure and shadows that the others don't have. Everyone has just been averaged out to the point of oblivion. The model doesn't like East Asians because the training data sets are likely skewed towards Indian/South Asian. Nobody looks distinctly any other race anymore. In a sense, that makes it even more woke, doesn't it?
Devs should design better models. Period. If we expect more from them, we should keep asking for that. Let's not switch designs from woke slop to AI slop.

What's funny is that I remember only one Japanese line from all of the stories. All characters speak perfect English or English with a very weak Japanese accent. Definitely doesn't feel like you're dealing with locals.

If they allow you to use AI and let you generate your own 3d model as per your description/preference and save it for use within the game, I would actually support it. Unlike a dragon age veilguard, forza horizon is still keeping their inner weirdos tamed and thats why people will say "but why does it affect you" like its 2020 again.
Its time will come though, it wont be six or maybe even horizon seven but these sorts of weirdos that do these sorts of things cant help themselves and the mask will fall off at some point

My son booted it up while I was still at work. I saw the end of the race and was like "why is your character bald?". He just said "eh". He probably clicked through the character creator in 5 seconds, picking shit at random, he doesn't give a shit about what his character looks like he just wants to race.

3 and I have played almost 15 hours but I am starting feel fatigue. The gameplay loop is too repetitive for my taste. Are you having fun yourself?

So far so good papi, just did the Gold wristband event and unlocked what is basically the 'end-game' equivalent island and challenges.
The one criticism I have is that they frontloaded the mecha race near the start and the other 'event' races haven't lived up to it since.

Played for the first time via BC on Series X the 1st and second one last year.
Now installed the 3rd one.
It's the same game in a different setting. The series saving grace is that it comes once every few years, and not annually like a FIFA/old NFS and that it feels good to play the first hours until halfway in the campaign when its gets repetitive and I had enough.

The first game has a very specific direction, going hard for that 2012 edm festival thing and it really nailed it. I don't think it's ever captured that direction as well after. 2 was alright but it rapidly declined after that, becoming incredibly soulless and safe. 4/5/6 in particular the festival feels like a complete and total after thought.
