Is it damn cold where you are too?

It is damn cold out. What is worse is the dryness of the air. It's irritating my sinuses/throat (unless I'm getting sick again). I think I'm going to invest in a humidifier.

Walked back to my dorm in Charlotte in slightly less than 30F. So...no. I grew up in Connecticut. I can handle this shit.

Austin. Currently 63, tomorrows high 74. Damn near perfect.

Too fucking cold in NYC. I'm so glad it was in the 30s just yesterday when I was waiting outside for the Ellie Goulding show.

It's going to be worse tomorrow I heard :'( RIP me

8 degrees Celcius in Tokyo right now, pretty good. We got some snow last week on a day that felt like it was the coldest of the winter yet, but since then it's been getting better.

Sex during these months is pretty fantastic though.Cold butt cheeks smackin up against ya does a body good.
I have my girl go outside every 10 minutes or so to keep her buns chilled.

SoCalifornia native living in Grand Rapids, Michigan and it's 5 degrees F/-15 C right now. Last night dropped down to -.2 F with a "Feels like -11" notice. It's sad, but I want to see how cold it'll go. No one ever told me the moisture in your nostrils freezes up, feeling like mini slow-to-react mini pop-rocks. What a strange sensation.

Stayed 2F up until noon. Thankfully we have a garage for our car. Everyone else's was covered in this really fine, almost gingerbread frosting-esque plates of snow. It was cool because we also had 35mph winds that would kick up these fine snow particulates into gigantic swirls that looked like steam. Because I'm new to this whole freezing weather (and last year never got down to 0 degrees), I tried to see how long it would take to freeze a mug full of water if I left it outside. After four hours, a mug full of 3 cups of water only froze like, 33% percent. Disappointing. Was hoping I could toss a glass of water into the air and have it return a solid mass.

Been hovering between -30 to -40 here (low as -45 with windchill sometimes) for the last couple of days, with a cold windchill warning in effect. This is my first winter here, holy crap.

Heh heh. I'm maybe 2 hours east of saskatchewan and I've got the lovely cold front too. Why do people live in places like this again!? :p

I'm in a wooden extension in my bed and it's pretty cold. It was also snowing again not that long ago. No idea about temperature though, but it has to be around 0 degrees c.

Oh yeah. ^_^;

I struggled to find work in Ontario. I was hired during an over-the-phone interview before I had even moved here with a 1-year trade school program certificate and 1 year of related work experience. I feel so soft- the skin on my knuckles splits from being so dry/cold damaged.

By most definitions of "cold", yes. It is currently -12 C here, but that is very typical of January. In fact, -25 C is also a "normal" January temperature where I live..

So no, it's not cold.

A lot of people from Ottawa in this thread :lol.

Fortunately I have (heated) indoor parking and only a 3 minute walk to work. The heat from my building leaves my body about halfway there and I've been running the rest of the way lol.

It used to be this cold all the time. They said tomorrow will be the coldest day in 8 years though.

Geez I just checked! Ontario/Quebec are super cold right now! Usually that kinda stuff is reserved for us prairie folk :P.

Bundle up.

It's been a quite mild winter here in Calgary. I hear the east coast got it good this year though.

Hush. Don't speak of such things. I am enjoying the lack of -25 C and colder.

Pittsburgh here. 10 degrees F currently. We got up to a balmy 12 F today....

I know my brethren on the east coast also getting that deep freeze.

That's a little chilly... I guess? like -12? We had a high of -15 C on sunday I think and that would have been fine if not for the wind and my being sick as a dog. Had a real mild winter though, not that many really cold -25 ish days

Was about -45c this morning with windchill.

I usually wear layer of t-shirt, long sleeve t-shirt and my fleece at work, I don't wear a jacket. I had to take a layer off it was so hot working outside...
