I'll give you an example of the BS that happens now. Before the whole "woke" movement (and I'm saying woke for the lack of a better term since its completely lost its original meaning), I never heard
complaints of woke for every single thing that was NOT surrounding a certain race or sex. For example, you have people calling a game like South of Midnight woke, simply because it has
a black protag and an emphasis on deep south culture in the US.

They didn't "race-swap" characters or have any "forced diversity" or any of the usual stuff that we see from the 'anti-woke' crowd. They made a totally new IP with its own unique story and this still
rubbed people the wrong way..........they still felt the need to call it woke. You see how ignorant that is? That's why I'm sick of the stupidity from both sides.......you both go too far.

I bet the only reason gas prices are over $4.00 a gallon is because the new fangled gas pumps are woke and DEI. Think about it, there was a time when you paid cash for gas and it was cheap, like 99 cents. Then, they "upgraded" all the gas pumps to use credit cards. Credit cards have implanted microchips in them.

It's so simple and blatantly obvious what has happened. The microchips inside the credit cards are set to automatically change the price of gas on a specific date in the future. The only way to update all the gas pumps is to write woke code into them. The war in Iran is just a distraction from the woke gas prices.

No, my argument is that it is illogical to say that you dislike conflict, but then ignore the means by which that conflict was created in the first place and then start blaming sides for partaking in it (equally, unequally, it doesn't matter). If you truly dislike conflict and are fully unbiased in the matter, wouldn't then the only logical position be to say I dislike whoever created the conflict and they are responsible for all the shit that proceeds it ?

If I hate war, then I must and will hate the person that starts and creates war before any and all details such as how the war is fought or how the two opposing sides behave. And thus I should assign blame there above all.

I'm glad that more and more people are saying this. Both have become absolutely abysmal, especially when it feels like folks are just looking for "problems" or "issues", it's happens way too often. You can make something out of nothing, and there's plenty of examples of just that happening.

There's so many good games, and better things to talk about, somehow we just keep going back to this. It's only gotten worse and it's hardly constructive in majority of the cases.

I couldn't careless about the Kojima Productions hiring process, and we shouldn't either. We should care about their games and their quality. I just hope that he and his studio continues to deliver.

Yes you did not outright say those words. I am however capable of reading comprehension and can infer meaning from text. You say here:

What someone can gather from this then is that you dislike the two sides because it makes gaming worse (unless exhausting is a good thing for you). The two sides are engaged and behaving in a negative manner (as per your words) due to an ideological conflict. By extension then, you must dislike their conflict as its consequence is creating a negative outcome for you. The opposite cannot be logically consistent, because if you liked this conflict your statement does not make a whole lot of sense. How can someone not enjoy when two people are fighting and present negative outcomes for it, call both of them stupid/whiney/whatever adjective for engaging in it, but then say that they enjoyed their conflict after ?

In any case, I'll drop it, since what I'm saying is flying over your head in a major way it seems, so the whole back and forth is pointless.
