going back to God of War 1 after playing 2 was really jarring back in the day.
Or Resident Evil. Playing any of the older games before 3 is weird.
RE3 introduced the quick turn, and playing any Tank Control Resident Evil game that doesn't have the quick turn feels just wrong now.
Halo CE vs Halo 2 has one specific thing that feels weird going back, and that's the controls of some of the vehicles. The Ghost especially feels so much worse in Halo CE compared to its sequels, you can't strafe with it yet, all you can do is accelerate and break on the left stick, while in all games affer that it has full 360° controls
the Tank and Banshee have similar issues.
