Itagaki's Devil's Third will not be at E3 this year

this week's famitsu had Koei Tecmo special, and for some reason Devil's Third came up.

-Devil's Third development is going well. But it will not be at this year's E3

it really shouldn't be a surprise I guess.

some other info on KT.

-Atelier Musou is not likely, but it would be interesting to do some sort of collaboration
-Sengoku Musou is dated for 2014
-Ni-Oh will have a big surprise for everyone
-Yaiba:Ninja Gaiden Z is playable at E3

This was being published by Tecmo-Koei? I thought it was being published by something else? Why would he still publish under TK after he left Team Ninja?

It sure did have a nifty font treatment.

I'm surprised its still alive after all this time. Thought they would've canned it by now.

Well ... he is an infamous perfectionist.

And at this point, it seems they'll probably just move it to next gen.

Disappointing that we have to wait, but I still have hope. For all we know, they have probably substantially altered the game. I'd be shocked if it still had as much of a TPS focus as its initial reveal.

So they bought the game from THQ...but that doesn't necessarily mean Itagaki is still involved though does it?

Who bought it?

IIRC THQ relinquished the rights to the game to Itagaki and his studio after failing to find a buyer

Don't worry, they're calibrating the boob physex. ;)
I was hoping Hardo-Gay would be at E3 too, just to promote this lovely title.

Itagaki should have never left Ninja Gaiden

I don't know I think this game looks way more interesting to me than another Ninja Gaiden would have.

The studio has just had some extremely bad luck with it is all. Multiple business partners involved with the game have gone under midway through development of the title.

I really hope this comes out but right now I'm just surprised the studio is still open.

Not a surprise about Devil's Third but still a disappointment that it won't be there.

It'll be interesting to see how big of a train wreck Yaiba is.
