Initial trailer for this game excited me and reminded me of a high quality game with the same concept of Gunz or Anarchy Reigns. Now, I really don't think this game will turn out good, if it even comes out at all.

No one really asked Tecmo, whoever posted the info just happened to bring up Itagaki news since he used to be with Tecmo.

Anyway if you go to Valhalla's site you can see the game is still in development as recently as April 2013.

I suspect they restarted development at least 3 times, so it'll be a while

I LOVE NG1 and 2. Mostly 2. But this game was doing nothing for me.

Itagaki should give us a trailer or something to make up for all this wait, I am interested in it, the E3-2010 trailer was really cool.

& TecmoKoei is talking with him to publish it ?!, who knows, I wonder when we will see it.



Also Ni-Oh being mentioned is really interesting, I am disappointed we are not going to see it at E3 this year, Team Ninja keep making new editions, Ninja Gaiden 3, then Razor's Edge on WiiU, then on PS3/X360 , Dead or Alive 5, then Dead or Alive 5+, and now Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, Sigh too many releases where is Ni-Oh ?!

Tecmo owed him and his team a incredible amount of money in bonuses. They continued to make promises and didn't deliver the money. Itagaki and a lot of the team could only take so much that's why Ninja Baden 2 was rushed and he along with some of the team left.

Itagaki being given all the time he wants to release it almost guarantees we will get something great, whenever that day comes. I am certain that it has evolved and become something entirely different than the reveal at this point.

Game didn't look nearly as cool as his other original game, Ninja Gaiden. They need to redesign their main character and have some interesting and cool story-line otherwise it'll be just another forgotten third person slasher/shooter.
