Jade Raymond's Assassin's Creed: Teaser trailer

The man on the right is Pipomantis. So it's me. Just to say that in a few days, Gamersyde will have some info about AC, but I already said too much.

Needless to say that the person next to me is Cliffy B.

Donc vous et Jade est canadien-francais? J'ai pensé qu'elle était anglophone.

No I don't work with her, I'm just a journalist. She never said what I wrote. She is canadian but we met her at the Ubi days in Paris.

I believe the game runs with the notion that memory is stored into your DNA, so you're actually someone in the future accessing the memory banks of one of your ancestors back in the middle ages. For what purpose? Well uh, I dunno.

Ah... ok, sorry, I was confused.

Do you know if she is french canadian btw? Ubi being a french company, and it's HQ in canada based in Montreal. If she is, her english is incredible o.O

I would have to say that training seems the most likely reason. Awakening the same abilities and instincts in the future member of the family tree. I hope that doesn't mean a cliffhanger ending where you "wake up" in the future ready to go clambering around Blade Runner settings.

I'm pretty sure she is.

I've labelled it as best I can/can be bothered.

There's a lot of garbled stuff from what I can tell (and O with four bonds where there should be a C, bases bonded to each other rather than attached to phosphate groups etc.). Probably imaginative PR fluff.

elle parle L'anglais avec un accent, elle est Peut-être de Montreal:D

Ah d'accord... elle parle tres bon anglais, je peux pas détecter un accent.

A righteous babe to be sure.

Does any know what is Jade's favorite flower? I would like to send some to her. That doesn't sound too creepy does it?

Nah. I had plans to meet up with her for dinner and keep a bottle of chloroform nearby for some after dinner dessert. Sounds just as reasonable as my idea.

Considering we did our (awesome) interview in french, I'd suppose she's french enough ;)

But she definitely has a canadian accent and used a lot of english words, so...

She's not even that attractive. The chick Ubi had demoing Enchanted Arms at E3 last year was way hotter.

She's a pretty girl and considering the fact that the gaming industry rarely has women as the PR face, that makes a difference in how she is perceived.

Did you hit it?

I played a game of "eye-showdown" with her while doing the interview, and damn is she skilled !

YOU SHUT THE F

Can I just pop in and say that I'm proud that people are actually trying to decipher that chemical chain? I was trying to figure it out, but it's been over a decade now since my last Chemistry class, and I can't tell any of this. I just know the valencies did look off. PEACE.

As far as I can tell, it's just some nucleotides (sans phosphate groups) with mistakes, incorrectly bonded to each other with a lot of random garbage, flotsam and jetsam.

Seems like a PR team looked at the structural formulae for the bases, thought "oh hey it's just letters with lines in between!" and decided that they would draw some more lines. I mean, hydrogen with a valency of 3?

Or annoyed that an awesome looking game she's working on is ignored and people talk about her instead.

Maura Davis is totally hawt.

Denali is pretty good too.

Since the twist was first revealed (over a year ago) I've had a theory:

I'm thinking this is "genetic memory" and that all the protagonists of these games will be connected through a bloodline. Kind of a secret society that began during the crusades and survived through the centuries, always having a hand in shaping/influencing major world events.

"Genetic memory".

Completely horseshit science fiction... but still better than a lot of the crap you see in movies.

That trailer was great, I was hoping they'd have spruced up the inconsistencies in the animation from last year. Not as impressive as I was hoping it would be. Though it doesn't help that it was a cinematic trailer and they were artificially putting it in slow-mo. I'm sure I won't care so much in gameplay

I don't think this'll have 10,000 animations like somebody was saying in the Uncharted thread though. What did she say, 300 contextual moves?

*MEME UPDATED*

GIRLS ON THE INTERNETS AND GAME PRODUCTIONS

And I thought the song in the trailer was alright. The era the game is seemingly based in with the music didn't mesh too well. Its like that Knight movie with Heath Ledger :lol

It reminded me of the Gears of War trailer

The combat in this game is really impressive. Being mostly driven by a quick strike and counter system... it fits the character so perfectly. And looks cool as hell.

This Jade chick seems pretty cute. Not a 10, but 7ish.

Is she the one that the Jade engine was named after?

Wow, you guys are harsh.

Not only do you so effortlessly assign numerical values to one's looks (which in itself is...somewhat arrogant), but you do so rather improperly.

Now, I am not one to play the "number game." As I mentioned, I feel it is unjust in a few regards but if I was to give in and conform for a moment, I don't see how Jade Raymond would not be a "10." She's beautiful, well-spoken, mature (I commend her on how she takes her occupation seriously), and seemingly fun.

:D There's my two-cents. :D
